“Geoffrey is a very talented photographer. He was in the store when we stopped by and I enjoyed talking to him about his pictures. It was hard to pick just the few things we purchased. I wish I knew more of the measurements in my house because I would have gotten more. I will definately go back to get more great prints for the house.”

“I took a terrific class at the Galena Center for the Arts. It's a nice facility, with a bright clean classroom on the lower level. The staff was helpful and friendly. The center is undergoing a significant remodel, and it should be positively beautiful when it's done!”

“This art gallery is incredible. My absolute favorite I’ve ever been to. The art is such a fun, eclectic mix- nothing by brand and stuffy. And they have the BEST cards. The local artist work is beautiful and we almost always leave with a new piece of art when we visit. There are also so many fun gift items and less expensive art prints that make great presents.”

“Oh my God, Karen N's review is spot on, check it out. We were walking around one night and wandered in here. Kent came down after awhile and we chatted a bit. Very nice man, his clay creations are impressive. Along with plates cups and bowls, he had a few interesting oddball creative pieces. This is a bit off the beaten path but worth checking out. A great find in a unique place, Galena, IL.”

“There is no longer an art gallery at this address. It is now a place called Chew Chew Cookies. We stopped in because we know people that really like trains. There were two great train sets set up. We purchased two kinds of cookies and a brownie. They were all very good.”

“What a talented potter! I ordered 3 sets of Charles amazing tiles and said "send whatever colors you like". I received all three sets (beautifully packed -- NO ONE could have considered breaking even one). They are beautiful and will go into my garden on posts somewhere special. I would definitely visit the studio if you're in Galena, well worth your time. Pottery reasonably priced for such a talented person. Sandra runs the gallery and is a delightful person to visit with. Checkout the entryway floor, all made with Charles hand built tiles -- don't miss this stopover in Galena!”

“My first time visiting Galena, I fell in love with the picturesque town, the kind people and inclusive community. I began an watercolor art collection which includes art from local artists in towns I have visited. I was so glad when I found this gallery. I found exactly what I was searching for. Carl rung me up and was a kind man. The gallery is small, but roomy. What beautiful artwork!”

“We stopped in and bought a coffee cup for my husband..We had the pleasure of talking to Joe, who was kind enough to spend quite a bit of time explaining the process that was used to create the very unique coffee cup we purchased..It was such an education! Joe is obviously very knowledgeable about his craft and it shows..We loved our purchase and will make sure to return in the future.”

“Along Galena's adorable Main Street shopping strip are many stores to visit, however, Dream Catcher is the perfect place to purchase local jewelry and art. Not only does the art serve as a souvenir, but also a perfect new addition to your home or fashion. I especially recommend the art pieces created by Paul Chase (several pieces are featured on Dream Catcher's website: My partner and I have a vertical art piece featuring downtown Autumn Galena in our kitchen that I get to enjoy daily. It allows me to drift away from my urban Chicago routine to daydream about my laid back visits to Galena. Chase always maintains sharp, vivid colors and always gorgeous imagery. His art has a variety of themes including: farm and outhouses, churches, guitars, wine bottles and motorcycles. If you like any of Chase's art, or anything else you see in the shop or online, you can also make phone orders by calling 815-281-2510.”
