Hartig Drug is a fantastic drug store with a hometown feel, preferred over cold impersonal big pharmacies. The staff is professional, courteous, genuinely kind, and very helpful. The pharmacy provides terrific and attentive help with prescriptions, flu shots, and COVID vaccines. The process is seamless for services like getting a vaccine, which can be very comfortable. The staff is also known for going above and beyond to assist customers. Overall, they are fantastic and cannot be recommended enough.

I can count on Hartigs in Galena to fill my prescriptions, and Luke to answer my questions, while I shop the variety of merchandise available in the store. Most recently Wendy, Bruce, and Becky helped me use a mobile gift certicate that I had no clue how to apply. This is why I try to shop local!
