I hesitate to mention how great Dr Hannah is with fear all the horse people will want her and I wnt be able to get an appt.,but with that said I highly recommend this awesome woman!! and now to top it off shes starting equine accupuncture.Hannah your the bestplease dont ever leave us.

We got 2 empanadas (egg,sausage,cheese and loaded hash brown), a scone, and a danish. Everything tasted excellent, was fairly priced and left us wishing we had gotten more!

301 N Main St, GalenaFood was pretty regular but the coffee is amazing. You can tell they roast their own. The coffee bar is amazing and we loved the atmosphere. Very cozy. All 3 servers are very sweet. They all stopped to check on us or say hi. I absolutely recommend.

Green Street Tavern
230 S Main St, GalenaWe were visiting Galena over Thanksgiving and came into Green Street for a drink before (and after) dinner. Green Street is a fun and friendly place. It has a great history, which is documented in the bar/hotel. We didn't specifically eat here, but we did eat in the hotel which I imagine is made in the same kitchen by the same staff, and it was excellent. But more specifically, the bar is great, the drinks are creative and delicious, and the prices are reasonable for a touristy area in a small town hotel bar. There are also TV's around the bar showing sports or music videos, but they are non-intrusive. But the standout is the staff. The bartender was amazing, funny, creative and helpful. The servers were similarly awesome. If you're in town, definitely swing by and have a drink. Remember to be nice to the staff and I promise they will be nice to you.
