“A Great Big Shout Out of THANKS to the staff of Advanced Auto Parts Also a Very Knowledgeable Helpful customer. Yesterday my check engine light started flashing on my car and it began sputtering and barely wanting to accelerate. I had called my car guy but no answer I drove to Advanced Auto Parts for help and Help they did! Codes flashing misfiring and voltage problems.( I was quite worried, cost, time and other thoughts filled my head) The employees went above and beyond to help me when a young man in the store over heard he also offered his help. Oh my I told them all how lucky I was to be in the right place at the right time. They changed out spark plugs and ran test again still misfiring installed a new coil right there in the parking lot and my car problem was FIXED! I know it wasnt Luck I know it was the hand of God who placed these Wonderful people in my life! I am truly Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed!”

“So, after spending $70 on an oil change, $700 on brakes, plus a few random visits to a mechanic in Galesburg, I decided to try somewhere different. My car overheated and I have a cracked rim. Honestly this garage was the 3rd place I called. They say 3 times a charm. They checked my car to see why it overheated and flushed and filled the radiator after determining there was a crack in the radiator. John called everywhere from here to Missouri looking for a rim for me. Charged me $40 total. Later that afternoon after I left, I called him crying. I was about 20 minutes away and my spare tire which I was driving on, popped. He sent his guys out to help me. He got me home. He charged me $80 on the tow!!! Thank you so so much!!!!”

“I broke my left shoulder 5 weeks ago, and am now in physical therapy (staples out, out of sling) - but still can't move it for heavy lifting or pushing yet.I wrote the above to say this:I was driving today and the heater in my van wasn't quite getting warm. I decided to check the anti freeze to see if it was low. I pulled the hood release, but the hood wouldn't budge.I knew I couldn't put full pressure on the hood to hopefully pop it open, so I went to O'Reilly auto parts (1st one I came to).There were 5 or 6 people working, 2 walking around - and I stood there for 15 minutes.... no "hello, be right with you", nothing. It wasn't just me, there was a customer in front of me that had been there awhile.I reckoned they were just really busy and I left.I went right across the street to Auto Zone and walked in. The minute I walked thru the door the two guys working there said hello and asked if they could help me.I explained about my shoulder and asked if one of them would mind trying to open my hood. That was all I was asking or expecting/hoping for.One guy (I did not get his name) grabbed his jacket and we went outside.He had my hood popped in no time, and I thanked him, thinking that would be it and I would check my anti freeze.He said he'd check.it for me and I'm glad he did! I had a gallon of premix anti freeze and the radiator took that, plus another almost full gallon - yikes!The heater is working great now.The guy cleaned my hood release cable and oiled it, saying there was just a bit of rust on it - then checked that it actually opened the hood - it did. :)This long post to write what an amazing, warm welcome and service 100% above and beyond what needed to be done!These guys will treat you right - they are fantastic. Thank you so much!!”

That was refreshing since more and more charging locations are trying to limit who they let use their charging stations. It is nice that they have a newer Level 2 charging station to help make the stop worthwhile.”
