Looking for a room heater I had an employ ask if I needed help. He put my choice in my cart. Since I was through shopping he helped me checkout and carried my purchases to my car. I was very impressed with this young gentleman.

As a container gardener, I look to Lowe's for seeds, soil, pots and plant food at reasonable prices. I'm able to find what I need and get in and out quickly, and the cashiers are always pleasant.

I'm disappointed that they are getting really skimpy on their veteran's discount . I have bought several things at full price the last several weeks and haven't got any discount at all.

I called up to check on availability of some 4x4x8 that I needed. Spoke with Nick who informed me that they had it and was kind enough to let me know I was more than welcome to park right by the building with my semi. Helped me load it in a cart and was overall just very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Great customer service.

I purchased a hot water heater there and the only two people working couldn't even help me with self checkout., so I had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to come and help me. Finally after making my purchase, there was nobody to help me load my product into my vehicle. I was lucky enough that a nice guy in the parking lot gave me a hand. Refrigerator delivery men were like a clown show. I purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator on Sept 24 @ the Galesburg Lowes. Delivery was on time but from the moment they got to our house, we realized immediately they didn't know what they were doing. First of all, they didn't know how to take the outside door off the hinge. They didn't bring any tools (so we supplied those). They didn't know they were taking our old refrigerator with them & had trouble disconnecting the plumbing (we supplied the tools). And the biggest problem was that even though we paid for the new installation hose to hook up the water to the icemaker, the guy said they aren't allowed to touch it. I told him there must be a mistake because we paid for the hose & installation. He informed me we needed to hire a plumber!!! I said , "Wait a minute!. If I would've been told you weren't going to hook up the water after we paid for the service, I would've gone somewhere else to buy the refrigerator!" We were extremely unhappy with the delivery service and after paying a plumber over $100 for a 5 minute job to attach the water line, Lowes gave us a $16 refund for the new water hose we purchased. Gee. thanks alot. I'll never do business with them ever again

My husband and I came to Lowe’s tonight to pick up a few things. We arrived around 6:30pm on Sunday night. There were very few shoppers in the store at the time we were there. We had no trouble finding the items we were looking for. We did seek help from an associate in kitchen planning who was very helpful. Our major complaint with Lowe’s is the recent change in customer service in that they have switched to using self service checkout registers. We are not trained to use the registers, nor are we paid to do so. Yet we are expected to use them with 100% accuracy while the monitor stands and watches us. I would rather shop on Amazon and have my items delivered to my doorstep than work for Lowe’s for free than shop at Lowe’s any longer. From now on we will take our business to Menard’s, where humans still interact with customers, or shop on Amazon and have our products delivered to our home. We are so tired of doing the work of the stores for them!!

Lowes sub contracts their delivery services. Ordered a large heavy object and delivery people refused to place in the house. Sent it back to the store for a refund. Got a call from the manager who had no idea that the sub contractors would not place object in the house.

Can you believe they, dumped all their veggies seeds and such in a dumpster, not donated to food banks, or homeless. They just dumped them. Such a wasteful company, they could of discounted them. So sad, once I was proud and happy to shop there.
