As a government agency the United States Postal Service location in Galesburg Illinois does a good job. They always help me with what i need as long as it's not a ridiculous request and I am respectful to the person in charge. If they tell me something whether it's a tip or a recommendation for next time, i always take their words into a deep consideration as they are the ones running the show. Thank you USPS.

We live in a rural area of the Galesburg district. It has been 8 days since we have received any mail. The woman Chelsea said that we would have to come in and pick up our own mail as they were not even going to attempt to deliver it.

Terrible experience, right before Christmas, would NOT recommend. First, I was mailing a package and the first thing I'm told is, go write the from address and to address on the box. Never have done that before. I obliged and returned to the counter a few moments later just to be told, "this is going to get lost" with a giggle from the lady "helping" me. I grabbed the package and stated, in an exasperated tone, "I will take my business to UPS".Since when does the post office no longer print shipping labels? When did they institute hand written addresses on boxes? What if I were unable to write for one reason or another? What if I were disabled? USPS has taken a nose dive in relation to customer service and I will never ship through them again. I will happily pay the higher prices to never again deal with the personnel at the Galesburg, IL location.

They have a window to pick up hold mail from 730 to 830. You usually have to stand there and push the bell for atleast 10 minutes before anyone opens the half door. Why have the window/ door if you can't get any help

My last 2 amazon deliveries left up at the club house. Usps stated on delivery message left on porch or near front door. She is falsifying where she delivers. She is also aware I am disabled and that is why I order from Amazon to have my packages delivered to my home.
