Showed up at 6 pm to pick up a prescription for my son’s burn on his leg. Was told they were short staffed, so I waited and they never filled it . Went home and came back, (after calling the automated system) and it said that it was ready. Showed up at 9:50 pm . They close at 10pm. The pharmacist said he wouldn’t fill it until the next day. In addition, they were not going to open the next day until 2 pm due to short staffed . Get some help you retards.

This Walgreens is absolutely terrible. Every month my fiance needs his medication there is a problem. He waits days to get it filled, is told lies by the employees on why he can't get it and no one takes the time to look into the issues, they just put it off so they don't have to do the work. I know this because I have been told by one of the employees before that the others we spoke to lied about there being a note from his doctor saying he can't have it yet and that there is an insurance issue because none of those issues were on his prescription anywhere and she filled it right away after waiting days. Today though once again he had waited days and had a note on the app that said under pharmacist review, we went in and got to the counter, Vicki, one of the employees was very sweet and helpful, she noticed right away there was something wrong with the insurance, the way it had been put into the system, Grant then came to help her get it straightened out and she filled it right away. The issue was that they did not have his current insurance as the primary in system. Because Vicki and Grant took the time to look into it right then and there my fiance received his medication. Thank you to Vicki and Grant for your wonderful customer service and prompt attention to the issue. We appreciate your help.

I started going to this pharmacy because the Hy Vee pharmacy is so slow. The pharmacy now has a 25 minute wait every time I come to pick up a prescription. They need to hire more people.

I wish I could give this Walgreens absolutely no stars. Wait times are hours, Fill times can be days. And on top of that the pharmacists are playing games with peoples meds. For example I went there cause I saw on app there was a problem but didn't know what, and they tried saying my doctor put a note not to fill it yet (absolute lie btw I called my doctor and he never put any note at all) and then was lied to AGAIN by a dofferent tech and told that my refill date on my bottle was wrong, and then come to find out it was all just because there was 1 number off on my insurance. Avoid this place like the plague.

After about a 30 min wait I got up to the window, only to be told my meds were not ready. It wud b ready in 20 mins... Ran ACROSS the street to the bank and right back, I was 7 cars deep in line so I timed it.... 47 mins later it was my turn and my one bottle of meds were done and I was on my way!
They have 2 drive ups but I have never seen more then one tech running them both.... Alternating from one to the nxt and back again.... The wait is absolutely crazy always.... No matter what time you go, it's always backed up... There is zero point in having 2 drive-ups!
I feel sorry for the techs working there.... They too have got to b going crazy! Walgreens NEEDS to get them some help!

The pharmacy is an absolute joke. If you need a prescription filled, plan on waiting the majority of the day, if not longer. Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately in galesburg, there's not many to choose from.

Today was my third time in three months not getting the right amount of pills. The first time I was short 30 pills, last month 5 and 10 this month, each time they fixed the problem but why should I have to go through this? They need to recount or invest in a pill counter.

I've worked in Walgreens before. 2 pharmacies. I wish they would shut every last one down. This one in particular, could never get anything right, but we stuck with them as they WERE 24/7. Now the same issues with less time to fill orders as they aren't open 24/7. A person shouldn't have to go without OMNIPODS or Dexcoms for any reason. None zero. All approved by Insurance. No excuse

Won’t tell you if they have a drug in stock. Make me hang up and call my dr just to see if they have the inventory. Then after 30 minutes of hold I find out they do have it in stock.But then need to have the dr call back again to get the order placed even though I have an order in my hand.. 1 hour of hold for a prescription that my dr already filled out. When you call they act like you’re an idiot because you don’t know that you have to jump through 17 hoops just to get a prescription filled after you get released from surgery. This has to be a joke.

Just in one of two very long lines at the drive through. After some waiting, they closed the line I was in, sending all of us to the end of the other line. This due to "staffing issues." If management wasn't so cheap in what it pays people, they have more takers in the job market. PAY PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR YOU WHAT THEIR WORTH. Customers will be appreciative.
