Wordsmith Bookshoppe is a welcoming bookstore with a wonderful and helpful staff. Visitors are always warmly greeted and feel welcomed. The shop has a special aura and silence where the books want to tell their story. It is a 2200 sq ft space with a very good selection of over 18,000 new book titles, 1,500 magazines, and literary themed gifts. They have a little bit of everything for all ages, genres, and passions, making it a perfect place to find gifts. The staff is known for being friendly and honest. They love local authors, host events, and partner with other local businesses. It is the kind of bookstore you hope to find in a quaint downtown.

Absolutely love this bookstore! The staff are all super friendly, they have a great selection of books, and if there's something they don't have you can order it through them without any extra cost! Not to mention they really try to help promote the local and regional authors! 😁

Never thought I'd love to read but I love this book store great people. So helpful in finding something you want to read.

This is a great local bookstore. It's refreshing to see something like this in the downtown area of a smaller city. I was very impressed during my brief visit in October, and plan to stop by again when I return to Galesburg.
