Central Schoolhouse Inn is a historic bed-and-breakfast and event venue in Geneseo, Illinois. It is a quaint, charming, and absolutely wonderful hidden gem with old Victorian architecture and beautiful details in each of its five elegant rooms. The inn is extremely well-maintained and perfect for weekend getaways, celebrations, and private events. Guests find it a very enjoyable experience and the best spot to rest, highly recommending it. The home-cooked breakfasts are gorgeous, exquisite, and wonderful, served with special silverware and place settings. The hosts are wonderful and take great pride in the inn, providing excellent hospitality and being very accommodating for events. The charming solarium, parlor, and dining rooms are beautiful spaces for small events like a ladies coffee, baby shower, or happy hour, making them feel a bit more fancy or upscale. The service is lovely and reasonably priced, with options like provided coffee service. The whole experience is absolutely spot on perfect.

Excellent service, clean room and nicely decorated. Solo female traveler not comfortable with chain hotels on the interstate. This was a safe, comfortable, and felt like home. I appreciate water, coffee, tea available all day. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely return.

We stayed 2 nights in the architects room. The room was stunning, as was the whole house. Every inch of the mansion was impeccably clean down to the gleaming bannister of the main staircase. The breakfasts were elegant and delicious. Carolyn, the host, was friendlyainformative

Central Schoolhouse Inn exceeds expectations again. Carolyn is a lovely host of the B&B, making my husband and I feel very welcome. The breakfasts are delicious with great attention to detail. It not only is full of charm but is very clean and fresh. We would always choose to stay here while visiting friends and family...
