On 10/21/24 at approximately 3:30 pm, I went to make a return at the Geneva commons location. Upon entering the store, no one was in there except for a woman and her son and the cashier. I went to wait in line to make my return and while waiting I witnessed the blonde cashier woman roll her eyes as the mother and son as they left the counter then proceeded to pick up a box and violently throw it at the wall while I was waiting in line. She then proceeded to yell “Can I help you” with such a disrespectful attitude and very rudely. This woman was the most rude retail worker I have ever met. She was clearly not in the mood to be working, and when I tried to make the return, she stated their return policy had changed and I needed my original form of payment even though I had my receipt. Upon researching, there was no proof or even anything saying their policy had changed. This woman was very disrespectful and unwelcoming. I’ve never been so disappointed with American eagle because of this woman.

Absolutely love shopping at this location and is one of my favorite locations! Everyone time I walk in the staff is always super friendly and helpful no matter if I'm shopping or just making a return! Always a great time and vibe here making our shopping experience not only great but fun.

Landon was a huge help! I had limited time and a couple screenshots of what someone wanted for birthday and Christmas. He was quick and efficient. He helped me find exactly what I needed, ordered for me what they didn’t have in the store and it will be shipped to me. He went above and beyond by matching each gift receipt to the items I purchased. He also informed me of the gift card promo which resulted in $50of free gift cards. Thank you Landon!!!

The employees here are overbearing. As soon as I walk in I’m greeted & asked if I could find anything, I politely responded just looking. Within 30 seconds another employee who just overheard what I said approached me as I proceeded to say just looking. Then the girl in the beginning asks me if I’m still doing okay. This is within the first 2 mins of being here. I appreciate good customer service but it was a little over the top. You feel like you’re always getting stared down like you’re going to steal also.

When you walk in you get greeted by a girl in the front, I like that! As soon as I walked in I had another girl approach me asking if I needed help, which I said oh I'm just looking. Another 30 seconds later another employee approaches me, after she heard what I said about just looking then the same girl in the beginning asked if I needed help again. I picked out a cute top, as soon as I took it off the shelf immediately the employees had their eyes on me like I was going to steal. I work in retail too, when employees are to overbearing it makes the customer feels uncomfortable..

I love this stores clothes but the online ordering process is absolutely horrible. I've ordered online multiple times and all have been some of my worst experiences ordering online. they do a horrible job with updating your items where abouts. I ordered one pair of shorts which took almost a month for me to receive. the other time I ordered a couple pairs of jeans which took almost 1 month for me to receive. please improve your online ordering process or I will not be ordering online for you guys again.
