Like an old time inn with 21st century amenities. The room had a fireplace, the food was great and the restaurant attracts locals as well as guests.

I had the basic breakfast, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and sausage. It was all good! I split an order of pancakes also and those were super good. The waitstaff were all very friendly and it was an enjoyable experience.

We go once a year for our anniversary and we are never disappointed! It is our favorite restaurant! The food is amazing and the staff is top-notch! Thank you for a great experience, yet again.

Atwater restaurant was superb. The only down side was the aspect of handicap accessible entrance and outside entrance handicap parking. The ramp wasn't very conducive for handicap wheelchairs, scooters or walkers. It is my request that the Herrington really examine accessibility to all would be ideal for future guests.

Went to Atwater's for Sunday brunch and it was delicious. All diners commented on how each entree was delicious and the service was prompt yet properly paced. Highly recommend.

The server was not very attentive, did not offer fresh ground black pepper for salad and didn't ask if we would like more bread. For the price not good.

This is a little gem nestled on the historic Fox River. The entrance to the Herrington is majestic, like entering a posh cave. The restaurant carries that vibe, adding some sophistication in its dining room. The menu offers something for everyone, from sandwiches to filets. I had the Caesar's Salad with salmon. The fish was cooked to perfection. You get a great view of the river, a tasty meal and a touch of class for a bill that rivals some fast food places.

A touch of elegance and sophistication tucked away in a lovely hotel along the river. The restaurant and cuisine transform you away .... Away from your typical rushed pace.. away from chaos ... away from your typical everyday to a place where you can unwind, truly appreciate the cuisine and ambience . The setting and meal is rather high end romantic.

Upscale dining experience. Went during Geneva restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed the 4 course meal. The short rib risotto was excellent as was the butternut squash and the desserts. Nice cocktail/wine list. Service was very good too.

Atwater's has always had good food, but we've been disappointed by service in the past. We went during our local restaurant week and the service finally matched the food. This was a delightful dinner and -- during restaurant week -- a truly remarkable value. We enjoyed it so much that we will return without the bargain!

A second time for us and the dinner was amazing. Short rib risotto was delicious. The service was first class and deferential, and they never attenpted to rush our service. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, amazing food. Small dining room but it still is an amazing date night. Especially if you are staying at the Harrington.

Atwaters is one of the premiere restaurants in Geneva in my opinion. The bar area is slightly dated, but very classy. Service is generally pretty good, and the managers and staff are always excellent. The food is always delicious and the dining room is an intimate experience. Remains one of our favorites.
