Pug & Hound Pet Apothecary is a cute little gem and a naturally minded resource for pet owners. It offers a unique assortment of chews and treats, like chicken hearts and rabbit ears, as well as the finest selection of fresh food, toys, and accessories. The business has the largest line of herbal, homeopathic, and whole food supplements in the Chicagoland area.
The staff is super knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and absolutely compassionate about animals. They are always so helpful with advice and recommendations. Each staff member has gone out of their way to make pets and their owners feel at home, offering personalized service tailored to specific health needs. They focus on addressing root causes, not just masking symptoms, and provide holistic advice for helping a dog live its best life. It is the only store staffed entirely by veterinary technicians. Customers and their pets love this fine local establishment and highly recommend it.
This place is a gem! Even though I don't own a dog, I love getting supplies here for the dogs I sit. Awhile ago the staff recommended slippery elm for upset tummies, and I've been using it ever since. I always point my friends here when they're looking for healthy products. Their healthy chew options are unmatched!
