Banker was extremely unhelpful. Didn't try to understand the problem, nor did he try to listen to me or follow what the issue was, very unempathetic. Ended up calling the customer service number and got significantly better help.

This bank frequently spam calls me offering additional services. However, their interest rates and offerings are far below competitors. For example, their current savings rates are 0.01% and you can easily find 3.5%+ elsewhere.I've also been hit with hidden fees multiple times on multiple accounts, even on "No-fee Banking Services" where I was assured that there would never be any charges. I appear to get statements quarterly, and I received no emails about these fees. However, after withdrawing all my money they sent me an email the following day of a low balance alert. Interesting.Between the spam calls, poor offerings, and hidden fees - there is absolutely no reason to bank here. Even closing my account required an appointment because the banker was too busy, I called corporate and closed it in a 2 minute phone call.

This branch has been sending me unsolicited marketing phone calls on-and-off for years. Every time, I inform them I'm not on their marketing list and request to be removed. Yet they keep calling. And today they said they'd "make a note" not to call me again. Not serious in the slightest about respecting their customers.

I have been a big fan of Fifth third for many years but had never really asked for anything. Recently I tried NUMEROUS times to get customer service on the phone because 1099s are SUPPOSED to be paperless. Well, it would help if they Post them! I also have been to the branch three times, and many calls, to get a change to my statements - a simple system change that is not beyond basic stuff. Twice in person meetings to show the change did not work. About 8 months and still not fixed and NOPE these issues have not been raised to the IT help desk so someone who can actually fix this is informed! Ok so now I get to go to the bank to pick ip the "paperless" 1099 that a rep at the branch has waiting. Frustrating

This place is great if what you enjoy is waiting in line inside for the ONE teller who is actually working (both drive up and the counter), all because the ATM is down. I'll be transferring my money to a different company after today.

Let me just say that beauty that comes out of people, especially during this terrible pandemic and even during my terrible time I was blown away by the kindness and stature of Pracilla, the customer service representative at this location. I know for a fact I am not spelling her name right, forgive me but I hope I get my point across when I say that I came in with a broken spirit when I had woken up at 5:30 in the morning only to discover that someone had stolen $300.00 out of my account. After having gone through 7 debit cards ever since this pandemic hit as online hackers have become very prominent, I had had enough and broke down and treated this woman poorly at first I am regretting to say as I wasn’t acting with my highest self and just felt hopeless. She has a beautiful accent but I didn’t think she understood Me in my emotional state, and was disrespectful and shame on me for that as I strive for unity in the world. But to the contrary she returned with nothing but professionalism and resolved my problem promptly and while showing me empathy at the same time. I couldn’t handle it myself and needed someone to take the reins and she got it done. I am thankful, I am grateful, and I am sorry for the way I treated her and she should be held in high regard. Very good customer service representative and very good at her Job. 5 stars across the board. God bless you. Again I am sorry, stay safe and healthy and I wish you well.

I went in almost in tears wanting to close my accounts. I was extremely upset with the customer service over the phone (call center). When I went in I was greeted by Susan who was so pleasant and amazing. Not only did she go above and beyond for me. I felt she actually cared for me as a person. She transferred me to another banker named Prescilla who also went above and beyond for me. Not only did they do there best to help my situation they gave me all the advice they could so it would not happened again. I kept my accounts, I'm extremely happy, and definitely would be recommending fifth third bank to friends and family. Susan and Prescilla thank you for everything today. You girls are the best.

This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST branch I have have ever been to. Terrible customer service, incompetent employees who apparently have no idea how to operate at a sufficient or acceptable level. My advice is to NEVER go here. Ever. There is a branch in Batavia that is 100x better. The experiences I have had at this branch (Geneva) have me considering closing my account and taking my business elsewhere. Absolutely bottom of the barrel.
