PB Kitchen's reputation of design quality and professional integrity led us to meet with both Dan and Dave last summer for a project in our newly purchased Geneva townhome. They provided us with creative solutions for incorporating a beverage center, including a wine refrigerator and stemware cabinets, into an open living room floor plan. Their attention to details both in design and functionality, were apparent throughout the process, and their sources of installers, fabricators and product options, were invaluable. Additionally, the project was completed in a timely manner - we celebrated and entertained guests at our stylish, upscale beverage center the following weekend!

We began this kitchen project with the goal of updating our kitchen, maximizing space and creating at least 2 workstations. From the beginning Dan and Debbie were full of practical ideas, listened to our thoughts and created a wonderful environment that blends nicely into living spaces on either side. They are efficient, organized, kind, responsive, skilled and creative. The product is sturdy and beautiful. There are many many options for cabinets, finish and drawer/door pulls. This was a big project but the customer service and attentiveness, along with the great results made it go smoothly. Nancy Valenta and Gideon Warne

Every detail—from the hardware and surface materials to the lighting and appliances—was carefully considered in the design of our kitchen. We wanted our kitchen to reflect an attitude of permanence and timelessness while feeling modern and forward-looking. This was no easy task. The small footprint of our historic home imposed many challenges, yet PB Kitchen Designs succeeded our expectations in making our kitchen gracious and relevant for today. Quiet, consistent, and natural—our kitchen is now the serene space of our dreams. PB Kitchen designers are true masters of taste, bringing luxe effects to even modest dimensions, through attention to proportion, materials, and colors. Through all phases of the project, their designers were skillful, engaged, and timely—a winning combination for success in any design project.

Past Basket has designed three kitchens for me. All three were amazing. The help with placement of cabinets and variety of materials has made our kitchens unique and functional. Dan was sensitive to our varying esthetics and made a new kitchen look as if were there initially. Actually, one of the kitchens was designed for a new house; the other two for a 1950's mid-century home and a 1978 contemporary. The two homes that we sold were sold quickly, primarily because of the kitchens. The 1978 home where we live now centers around the kitchen. No guest has ever seen it without commenting on how beautiful it is. (And that kitchen was installed 10 years ago!) I cannot recommend Past Basket strongly enough. I have had only the very best results using their services.

We had contemplated a significant kitchen and first floor remodel to our Eagle County, CO home for many years. A large pantry closet and fireplace were the stumbling blocks in our old first floor plan. They were blocking beautiful mountain views to the south out the back of the house. While we didn't know how reconfigure the space we did know of PB Kitchen Design's great reputation so we enlisted their help. Dave and Dan listened carefully to our needs requirements, budget and ideas. After thoughtful discussion we decided with their support that the fireplace and pantry had to go. We drew up the plans and the work commenced. We could not be happier with the result. The kitchen has great views, is more family friendly and more efficient than the old kitchen. We finally have the Colorado mountain kitchen of our dreams. PB Kitchen Design was great throughout the process. So patient and helpful. We would hire them again in a minute!

The team at PB Kitchen Design are true professionals. Both Dave and Dan are very thoughtful, and comprehensive, in the design process. They understand all the small things and workflows that should be considered as best practice during a kitchen remodel. There is not an item that they brought up that we have not benefited from.

As someone who loves to cook and bakes regulary, I spend a lot of time in my kitchen....Past Basket built my dream kitchen! Dan McFadden, the senior designer, was wonderful to work with from the beginning. The project was not one of their biggest, but they treated me as it was huge. He was not only creative but very technically savvy. The design, cabinets and drawers are highly functional and maximes space and storage capacity. Their price was competitive and craftmanship was excellent. My kitchen is incredible. If you are looking for high design, functional high performing kitchen, Past Basket is your place!

Tearing a historic house apart for a remodel is no treat, take it from me. My current home is the 4th in a series of old historic homes that I have renovated over the years. But the biggest thrill (and expense) in any of those remodels is the kitchen. If you are looking for a custom kitchen, then look no further than Past Basket. These guys are pros working with you every step of the way overlooking no small detail. Their showroom in Geneva actually is made up of their furniture quality cabinetry so that you can see what kind of potential pieces that you may want in your kitchen. They design and draw working with you and your architect to create a one of a kind design that you will just love to cook in. Since old houses are puzzles- putting a new kitchen in that looks like it had been there since the house was built- but has all the modern amenities was my goal. Dan McFadden and his team at Past Basket created an award winning kitchen for me that looks like it was part of the original house. The glass in the cabinets is wavy and old, the pulls on the doors worn looking, the armoire that hides my refrigerator and the cabinets that hide the modern day appliances all are functional as well as beautiful. No detail is too small for this team- in fact- they did such a good job on the kitchen- I also had them make the cabinetry for the family room as well as the master bathroom. They even solved my makeup lighting problem in the bathroom by creating lights that mimic the makeup counters at fine stores. They are also the only dealer for La Cornue stoves in the area. Once I saw one of these french works of stove art- I just knew it would be the centerpiece for my kitchen. Custom cabinetry may not be for everyone. After all- if you are not planning to stay in your home for awhile to enjoy it- there are certainly less expensive options around. But if you love to cook, and love the feeling of fine furniture no matter what room you are in your home- then go to Past Basket. Even if you only look around to get ideas for the future- or if you are there with your builder to get started- their staff will love to create with you the kitchen of your dreams. I should know. They did it for me
