Jennifer, the clerk at the Geneva Post Office went out of her way to reach out to another postal facility regarding a certified letter that was mailed to me June 23, 2024 and I have not received as of July 7, 2025. She sent at email to another postal facility asking them to investigate this issue and to reply to her email with their findings as soon as possible. Thank you Jennifer.

Rang the bell 3 times over 8 minutes while being able to hear the worker listening to the TV* in the back? I get everyone needing brakes but at least put up a sign or lock the door with a sign something

The postal workers are always incredibly nice, service is quick outside of peak times, and the WPA mural and building generally are both stunning.

The worker was super rude to my fiancé. He had a lot of packages to deliver, and she proceeds to tell us that, “if you don’t close the labels yourself, I am going to ship them open.” Just super rude for NO reason.

Staff member chatted away on her cell phone with a friend through the whole interaction. I think the post office is defunct- they don’t care if people work or do things correctly. I will never use them again. I see another review with same issue. Clearly there is absolutely no oversight.

Typical disregard for the customer from the postal employees. They are rude. In a few words. They don't care.

The person at the counter was extremly rude. 1st. she was on her phone and didn't acknowledge me. Then when I said hello, she didn't look up and said can I help the next person like it was an inconvience. She wouldn't listen to my items I was inquiring about and when she was looking for a "sheet" that would show the new rates, I said this is a print out from your USPS site. She then said "I heard you, you said it like 3 times". This is the second time I have come into the Geneva post office and had to deal with this person. The first time she was on her cell phone as well.

Jen and Jen are always a delight when I come in. They are very knowledgeable and help me with rates and shipping. Other offices in the area have not so nice staff. I bypass and come here for all my needs

The person my wife and I delt with was very nice and talked us into using a service called certified mail with a signed receipt confirming delivery to the right person at the right address. When we received the return receipt there was no signature so my wife and I have no idea if the documents were delivered or trashed somewhere. I went back to the same person and we were told that the supervisor would look into the matter. I went back the following day and was told the same story and that the supervisor would get in touch with me. I haven't been contacted yet so I will have to go to the post office tomorrow because they now refuse to answer the phone when my number shows up on their display and I want my money back for the service they didn't provide that I paid for. I should have used United Parcel Service.

0 stars!!!!! Rudest man ever works there. Came in at 11:56 to buy a sheet of stamps and he said he was closed. Literally shut the window in my face. This man always has a bad attitude and is inconvenienced by his JOB to help people. Very sad to see my hometown of Geneva has disrespectful and unprofessional community helpers. I truly can’t even explain the lack of customer service I received today.

Alex our post office delivery driver has been amazing over the last two years we lived here , noticing the little things like I haven't gotten mail (foot broken) so he started delivering to the door. More importantly he noticed our neighbors daily routine of getting her mail and saying Hi , and he also noticed she was off and ask if he could walk her to her car and she briefly fainted so he with the help of an unknown fed ex whom noticed something going on an aided to help they put her in the front seat of the post car and called an ambulance. They are true heroes and amazing.

The staff here is incredibly rude. Each time I come in its something. Either employees are on their phone, I'm getting attitude for wanting a receipt for my scanned envelopes, or while buying stamps. SO RUDE!! This facility deserves the one star rating that it has. Its very unfortunate that this is the closest post office to me.

I'm at the post office 6 days a week to drop off letters to my military boyfriend. The workers are so friendly and accommodating to my needs. I'm very impressed with the positive atmosphere and will most definitely be visiting again!
