Wonderful experience! Wonderful owner! Went in there looking for something specific found so much more! Great products, Great conversation overall 5 stars. Recommend everyone to stop in they have an extensive amount of inventory for yourself or for a special gift. (Mine was a special treat for myself)

I love this place! The first time I went there was with my grandma in the summer of 2022 and we kept walking out and walking back in because we really wanted a bag then a sticker then bracelets and the man at the counter was so nice and friendly, telling us stories about some of the objects behind the counter. Then, I came back recently with my boyfriend and I got the same groovy friendly vibe. I can’t wait to come back in the summer :)

I love this place! Could I love this store any more? Doubt it.
Great inventory that feels like a time machine transporting you back to the days when people strived for peace, love and understanding.
That ain't bad.
The proprietor is always congenial and radiates the love and attitude of the original hippie ideals.
Do yourself a favor...visit this store and feel the vibes that are needed to return the world to sanity. And while you are there, buy a little something to take home with you and feel the peace wherever you are.
This place is iconic. A Fox River treasure.

Very disappointing experience. My daughter was visiting from France and eager to visit her old favorite HS shop. She bought a cute purse and some jewelry before returning to France. The purse started to fall apart in less than one month! She emailed the owner and explained what happened and was ignored. I went in today and showed the owner 3 photos of the purse and she basically said, too bad, so sad. She insisted they have NEVER had a purse come apart in all her years there. She refused to replace or credit the damaged purse, since I did not have it in my possession. It's in FRANCE! She then reluctantly said she MIGHT work something out the next time my daughter comes to to the USA. In the mean time, she is stuck with a worthless purse.

If a half star rating was an option, that is what I would select. The store owner, old disgruntled man, is one of the rudest people I've ever met in my entire life. For some reason there's just some thing about his hand sanitizer that works better than mine? Not really, but I was forced to use HIS. Not to mention the fact that a lady came in who didn't have a mask and he went apeshit. everything in the store is grossly overpriced, and for the sheer stress this man undergoes every time a potential customer walks in the door, I think he'd be better off closing shop for good.

The owner of the store is an amazing person that couldn't be more welcoming. Has a constant full stock of fun clothes, art pieces, incense and more! If you got some time to browse, I'm positive you will find something you want.
