I accidentally put our city water bill in a blue USPS mailbox instead of the City Hall box. A very helpful employee at the Genoa post office took my name and number and then went through the mail after it was collected from the box and found my water bill! She even offered to look up the address and mail it for me and I’d just “owe” her the postage on my next visit. I picked it up but still - above and beyond service!

I went in a few minute before close to have something mailed. Ive worked retail for years so I understand the need to close on time but I also understand you're not closed till you're closed. The first words out of the female clerk were "I'm closing in like a minute what do you need?" Said in a nasty tone. I would never go into the building at this post office location again. Incredibly rude woman working the counter.

Employee was rude, couldn't even say if I would be getting my mail but instead took down my number to get a phone call about it that I'm pretty sure will never get called.

The staff here are really friendly and kind, even though there is usually only one person working the counter at a time. Usually the line isn't very long (1-2 people max) and the wait time is understandable due to the shortage of employees. I ship things out quite a bit, and the staff is very helpful to find you the best way to send a package for the cheapest price.

DO NOT let the clerk change the zip code to your package. The clerk changed the zip code to my package and I have waited all day for them to redirect the package to the right address and they tell me they are too busy to take care of something they messed up. The post master was to call me 3 different times and not once has she called me on this issue and another issue on getting a package delivered to New York. I called the post office to tell them I have not received a call back and the person told me she is alone in the office and didn't have time to worry about my package. When I said I needed to find out how to put in a complaint because the post master never calls on issues she then told me she was the post master. If she really was I don't know but service at Genoa has gone way down. By the way I am not Alex Wagner. I am Betty Dumont but there is no way to change the name.
