I have been banking with them for over a year and I never had an issue until today. I had a bunch of loose change and I put it rolls (which took me forever) and headed there to deposit it through the drive through and a lady short blonde hair just looked at me and said I had to come inside and put them in the machine she didn’t even let me speak before she told me I had to come inside. I tried to explain that they were all in rolls and she still wouldn’t take them because I had about 10 one dollar coins (which can’t be put in rolls). I drove out of my way to that location because of their drive through because I had both of my small children in the car. I don’t understand if my coins were in rolls why couldn’t she take them through the drive through?! Be more kind please!!! You never know what your customers are going through that day. Everyone at that location is always nice but that lady definitely could have let me speak and listened to me.

This bank is literally garbage. Super rude reps in general (not directing towards one location). We also set up our card to be on autopay for 50.00 a month instead of the minimum, and the rep surely took our money for that day but failed to set up the actual automatic payments each month. When I brought this to Janet L attention on chat, she told me it wasn’t their fault and I would have to speak to my current bank we switched to. For no reason when our new bank has nothing to do with the rep from first community not doing her job. Also on chats they leave you on there on hold for 30+ min with no responses and then come back on finally just to tell you “one moment”. I’ve literally never dealt with a bank so instantly difficult and unprofessional. We switch to granite city credit union and all of our stuff is on autopay, correctly paid and set up, the best agents, and no issues ever. Please don’t waist your time with first community.

Avoid them all together is my advice. Don't use their ATM. Whomever handles their money for them cannot count. I have made several deposits at this ATM and several times their ATM has eaten the money and not returned it. Then I need to dispute it through my CU. Most recently, they reported significantly less in their balance sheet and I lost the money I put into their machine. I would think a bank should be a little better with tracking their money. Clearly, they cannot be trusted money.

This was such a wonderful experience for my 2 year old granddaughter! Everyone was dressed festively & so warm & friendly! We had a tough time trying to keep her fingers out of her mouth (excited & nervous, first time with Santa) but the photographer & Santa were so patient & sweet with her, we finally got a smile!! ♥️. Hot chocolate with all the goodies & a toy for the children. I might just need a savings account for her at this bank, & use the photographer, too (I’ll post her name when I find it). Thanks First Community Credit Union!

I choose to do all my banking with First Community. They have plenty of locations and incredible hours. Friendly staff that will go the extra mile is a staple there.
