“Nice store. I needed gardening gloves and landscaping waste bags. They were very conveniently placed near the cashier. The gardening glove selection is limited, but I was able to find a pair that fit my hands, and contained a protective leather tip for the index finger. Great for digging around river rocks.
It’s a small store and the selection of product varieties is highly curated. But it’s my first stop to purchase items for my home’s hardware needs.”

Had trouble finding the right paint color, and unfortunately my first attempt today didn't turn out as expected. I called the store, and they encouraged me to come back so they could adjust the color by adding more pigmentation.
Dustin went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. He took the time to compare and understand what I am looking for, made the necessary adjustments, and helped me achieve the perfect color I was looking for. “Daniel was very helpful with my purchase today. I walked in showing a color swap and he educated me on my options, color, quality and price for the color paint I was looking to buy. He was able to find a coupon and I saved money purchasing 2 gallons instead of initially looking for 1. He was honest with the result after a minor adjustment as well.

“I bought tinted paint for my garage door. I asked Pedro if I could return the paint if I bought more of it just to be sure i have enough for the job and didnt have to go back for more if i fell short. He assured me that I can bring them back for a refund if i didnt use them. So I purchased 3 gallons instead of 2 gallons. I only used one gallon and went back to return 2 gallons. The Assistant Manager who was in the store at that time tells me tinted paint cannot be returned and Pedro is out of town and is not reachable. I had to eat the $90 extra cost. If I was told of the policy before, I would have maybe bought less and came back to buy more in case I fell short. Always ask for an email confirmation.Update: I had to change my review to a 4 star, just for the professional way this was handled by them. I promptly received a call from the Owner who listened to my case and acted promptly to rectify this.”

Good morning! I’m reaching out to you to give your Sherwin Williams Carol Stream location some AMAZING praise! I visit this store often because you we’ve been doing a lot of home renovations. Your employee Doug most recently went above and beyond to help with our color selection for our living room as well as our custom color for our kitchen. He is so kind and friendly. He asked if I need help right away which rarely happens in home improvement stores, especially being a female. He was very positive and eager to deliver an amazing customer experience. I was greeted when I walked into the store and thanked when I left. Doug truly did amazing job at me as well as the customers in the store, feel at home and at ease.
I also wanted to point out the assistant manager Melissa. She is ALWAYS so kind when I visit the store. She is laid back while still maintaining a positive, professional, demeanor. She is always very helpful as well.”

“Alan is fantastic! Actually all the staff here are great! A few days ago, I went in to get a small gallon of paint that I had purchased a few years ago from this exact location. Well, it was a misprint paint and through the years the label/color of pain was very hard to read. Alan, went above and beyond to help me with this. And guess what? With all the work that Alan did to help me, he totally figured out the color I needed! He is such a nice young guy! He is so kind, nice, helpful!! I cannot thank him enough!
