Great experience with a very helpful, knowledgeable man behind the counter this morning (Saturday 8/8/20). We were there to transfer a title from my parents to my son and were hoping it could all be taken care of given my father recently passed away but was still on the title. Not only did he help with everything, he was able to provide assistance with everything but he wrapped it up in record time. What took him 15 minutes would have taken 4+ hours at the DMV.

Love this currency exchange! I used to go to the currency exchange in Naperville but like this place so much better. I travel past a lot of closer currency exchanges just to come to this one now. I wasn't too happy with a few others I've been to in Villa Park and Carol Stream, staff wasn't nearly as welcoming or helpful and those places were downright filthy. Doesn't seem like anyone was cleaning those? Looks like they have water coming in the ceiling every time I came in and it was very musty smelling. But Glen Ellyn is where I go now exclusively. I've only dealt with 2 of the staff at Glen Ellyn, but they are both lovely people and the place is always clean. Always smile and a greeting. I had a question about sending money to family in another country and wasn't sure how that would work since the whole world seems to be effected by covid, but they were both reassuring and explained everything to me. I'd never done it before and they were so helpful. I hope the company is providing proper protective gear for you guys because I know you have to deal with customers all day long, as someone with immune issues, I appreciate that the staff is washing their hands, wearing masks and gloves, I know you have to be going through those quickly. My only concern is that some of the customers aren't following social distancing guidelines, I was witness to a gentleman who wouldn't follow protocol and the staff reminding him nicely to please stand 6 feet away. Without a security officer, I'm not sure there's much more the staff can do about that, people just need to follow rules right now. Some of the lines are definitely not spaced 6 feet apart. Thank you so much for being essential workers and hereos during this time! Keep up the good work and PLEASE stay safe! PS: I just saw the other review about it smelling like a sewer? I didn't notice that at all. Smelled like cleaning products to me, which right now is a good thing!

Wow, what an unpleasant experience. God forbid you ask these people a question. Very untitled attitude. You can find better places with better service that don't smell like a sewer.

If you moved here from out of state and need new license plates, save yourself the trouble and frustration of the DMV (trust me on this) and visit this Currency Exchange. I purchased my car in Illinois, then moved out of state twice. Both times when I moved back, the DMV had a line about 40 people deep at 7am on a Saturday when they're not even open until 7:30am. I decided to visit this Currency Exchange to see if they'd be able to help me get my Illinois license plates. I got there right at 9am on Saturday morning, first in line and had Kim assisting me. I only needed my current vehicle registration, driver's license, a utility bill for proof of address and the title (side note - I lived in a state that required the driver to hold the title, rather than the loan company/lien holder. In Illinois and some other states, the lien holder keeps the title). It took her about 15 minutes to enter the information into the state system, and voila! I signed a few pieces of paper and had my new license plates that quickly. I can say with certainty, I have used a Currency Exchange at other locations before and felt like it was no less frustrating than going to the DMV... and I really would rather see the dentist for a root canal than go to the DMV. Kim was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful in getting what I needed and out the door. The fee was well worth the time and frustration I saved. I would highly recommend visiting this location for your future car title or registration needs, especially if you're coming here from out of state.
