My experience purchasing a car from Dave was great. Dave was a man of his word throughout the process. He was very accommodating whenever I needed him, and he delivered my vehicle to my doorstep after I payed it off. I’d highly recommend Dave’s Classic Cars, if you’re looking to purchase an old school project.

This is what you get. First he'll strip out good parts to sell and either leave you with nothing, or if he has something to replace it with that is broken, damaged, or inferior, he'll put it there. You can usually tell because he'll take things out and put back line one nut/bolt just to hold it there. He's got a HUGE stockpile of parts saved at a friend's house in a barn, and a small garage. I've been there and have seen it. It's immense the amount of stuff he has there. Then he'll sell you a shell of a car, or one with parts that you'll have to replace. Basically you're buying a shell for a VIN. And he's not very careful about his car inventory. He'll shove things around and literally smash things with his tractor he uses to shift things around. Everything is packed very tightly at his yard and he's not really caring what happens to things. I watched him move a firebird by the rear and he seriously crushed the frame in the process. What does he care, you're paying for it anyway. Everything is also exposed to the elements. He covers nothing, and when you get your junk pile of a car, expect to be removing rats nests out of every spot one can build a home in (frames, doors, support rails, etc).

I've seen less stripping at clubs, those cars are too rough and missing too much for those prices

Gave false information about cars, pictures are not updated, over priced junk cars. If you live out of state, do not purchase without flying out to see the car you are buying. The parts on the cars that actually matter have been sold, so expect to get a stripped car.

Always see these projects from the e way. Make sure you talk to him first before looking at cars. Cars need work as midwest cars. Suggest seeing them in person and be serious. One of 2 places you can see while going down i-55 to STL.Other one ( 20-30 minutes south) is more a show room with big $$ cars but they welcome people just to stroll. If you just want to kick tires.
