Beware that their process to view and accept items before you know what you will get is long. They take the item, and you get no cash, only an email of receipt, then they take their time pricing it, if.... I never heard back. In short, my 4 items were lost, and they said, 'this CAN happen, and that's Ok, because they probably were sold for a good cause'. Only offered me 60 dlls, it seems like the minimum amount they could 'guess' for only 3/4 items they found recorded in their system,which pictures actually did not match what I gave them. The kind of service was very low when I tried to contact them, and the manager simply did not have a regretful reaction when she gave me the story, which took months to be revealed. I sensed they have more items that they can organize. I do not expect nor want a response here from them because their opportunity to make it right was never evident when I reached out to them.

I recently visited the North Shore Exchange's online store, and was impressed with the selection of items available for purchase. It was well-organized, making it easy to browse through the various sections.
More importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful -- particularly Patricia, the store manager, whose assistance was greatly appreciated. Finally, I like the fact that this consignment shop supports a number of worthy causes, as the proceeds go towards helping those in need.
Overall, I had a great experience, and would highly recommend it to others looking for a unique shopping experience, while also supporting a good cause.

BUYER BEWARE. Purchased what was claimed to be an authentic Louis Vuitton bag (like new condition), within a month the coating began to peel away. We brought it in questioning its authenticity and was told we should take it to LV directly. We took it to LV, who wouldn't repair it because it wasn't purchased from LV. Upon bringing the bag back to NorthShore Exchange the owner (Wendy) was incredibly rude blaming us for allegedly leaving it in a hot car? Lesson learned on our part (don't buy a luxury bag second hand). Great mission, bad customer service.(I should note the other employees were lovely and apologetic.)

I recently visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed my experience there. What a beautifully curated space! The inventory is excellent, and prices are reasonable. The staff are very friendly. I look forward to being back!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The ladies are so sweet and not only was it great to finally get my dream bag, but giving back in some way to people in need and the community I am from was an amazing feeling! I live across the country now so I ordered online, but I’ll never purchase a bag or accessories anywhere else.

Extremely rude and disrespectful to their potential consigners at the Wilmette location. I honestly felt disgusted with how I was treated. They should be ashamed. Take your business elsewhere where customers should always be treated with respect and kindness.
