I am very sorry that the CVS on Lake St in Bloomingdale closed and I had to transfer my Rx to this location as it is the closest to my home and most convenient. I am writing this review based on my first impression. Two weeks before my diabetic medication run out, I called to request a refill. They said they will let me know when it's ready to be picked up. Two weeks went by, I didn't hear from them. I called, I was told the medicine is out of stock, everywhere. So then I had to scramble calling privately owned pharmacies to see if they have my meds in stock. I got 1 month supply from Care Central Pharmacy in Arlington Hts.Four days ago, I called this CVS again to request a refill on 2 other Rx as I was running out. I was told they need to contact my PCP to request a transfer of prescription. They will let me know when they are ready to be picked up (sounds familiar). I called today and I was told that there was no indication/record that someone from this location has contacted my PCP. Can they be more incompetent?!?!? They are dealing with people with health issues and these kind of incompetence can be detrimental to people's health!

The customer service at this CVS is absolutely appalling – unfriendly, unprofessional, and downright terrible. David, that guy, should definitely not be working there; he's rude, unhelpful, and a complete disaster. I wouldn't recommend this CVS to my worst enemy!

No employees in front by the register so anyone can just walk out with stuff if they really wanted too and the self check out didn’t even have bags to put my items in. The self checkout needed an associate and I had to walk around the store until I found someone and they didn’t even care that self check out had no bags. Terrible experience

my insurance company was calling CVS Pharmacy in McHenry and they've been on hold for at least an hour and 20 minutes now waiting to get through to someone to provide an approval for my medications. even when I call in, I usually have to wait a minimum of 1/2 hour. their service sucks!

The store is well stocked.but tends to be over priced. The staff is very friendly. They're very helpful most of the time.

Once the pharmaceutical staff got past the Medicare online hiccups everything went smoothly. I received both the Moderna for new variants and the power packed FluZone. I wasn't going back to Walgreens because the last vaccination was administered with the gentleness of a sledge hammer. CVS got it done without creating bruises on my arm.

Just AMAZING customer service. I just called and Safora not only checked the entire store for the product but found out which competitor had it in stock. Safora REALLY went above and beyond the call.

I have been a regular customer of this location for the last 4 years. The Pharmacy sent a text message to me with vastly incorrect information. I called to get the correct information as my prescription was called in by my Dr. I understand that people are sick and/or depending on the services, due the arrogant attitude of the New pharmacist who was obviously hurried and overwhelmed. I was put on hold mid-sentence and it was assumed that I wanted something earlier than possible. I was merely calling to verify that my order was called in correctly and to straighten out the pharmaceutical incompetence on the phone message. According to the phone text it would ready in over 3 weeks. I never had a single problem with any of the pharmacists. After being treated like I was problematic and somehow deserved to be spoken to like I was the issue and not the erroneous text.... I may switch to another location but the help always seems to come and go. I just thought Mr. Haris Rauf should be aware.. I will follow up

One of the few places that had the covid-19 test I managed to get one of the last ones it was great! They also have great prices on everything.
