“Came out to Downers Grove, IL for my sister-in-law wedding. End up getting a stain on my blazer a few days before the wedding. I call a few of the local dry cleaners and all of them said they wouldn't be able to have it done in time. If they did say yes they charged me my car payment plus more.
I thought I was going to have to travel further out of Downer Grove until I call Chris. Right away he told me to bring it in and he'll take care of it and would have it done in 2 days for me. Very nice, friendly and hilarious guy.
The BEST part is his prices are extremely reasonable. I actually left a nice tip because I felt like I owed him more for not only doing an amazing job, but getting it done so quickly and not being overpriced.
Thanks again Chris, can't thank you enough.

“We needed to wash five comforters. The young lady working that day was very helpful in explaining how to use the machines. The laundromat was extremely clean. The young lady was wiping down all of the machines and cleaning out all of the lint traps as soon as as customer was finished with the machines.

“I was happy with the dry cleaning and the careful way they hang the clothes however I had a suit jacket with wrinkles remaining on the front. The ladies are very nice and they have lots of work so I said nothing. My guess is that this probably doesn't happen often. I had many items dry cleaned and had issues with only one garment. I'll be back there for sure.”

“The washers and dryers work really well here, and it's pretty clean overall. I saw staff walking around pretty consistently, either cleaning the floors, maintaining machines not in use, or otherwise keeping things running smoothly.On the downside, the touchscreens on the card machines seem kinda janky. It took me several attempts to buy a new card with the amount I wanted on it. Also not a fan of the really drab, gloomy grey interior. They also have a LOT of TVs with the volume turned WAY up. Couple this with the echo from the high ceiling and it can get incredibly noisy in here. Also they have a vending machine for snacks, but no drinks, strangely. Guess you can get something at the Jewel nearby if necessary.4 stars overall, decent place to go when I have more laundry than the tiny stacked unit in my apartment can handle.”

“She's the best-- I had her dry clean two coats for me and upon picking them up she said she would keep one to continue to try and get a large stain out. Days later, she called me, I went to pick it up and she not only got the stain out, but didn't charge extra for working on it further. Great lady, great work, great place.”
“This service from Hawthorne is so over the top I had to post a review. They offer free pickup and delivery which is awesome. We have to get clothes turned around quickly because of a job where my husband travels. Always accommodate the quick turnarounds with a smile. A few weeks ago, my husband forgot to pick up a suit he needed for the next day and they were closed. He left a message and the owner herself actually personally delivered them to our house after business hours. Just incredible. Can't say enough about the service and kindness!Services: Delivery”

“There are plenty of machines. I don’t understand the reviews that say it’s dirty and rundown. Every time I’ve been there I’ve seen staff cleaning. Staff is also friendly. I use a walker and it’s not easy to maneuver while dragging a hamper behind me! Someone always opens the door for me and some offer to help me to my car. I do agree the music can get loud and I wish they’d put at least one TV on an English speaking channel.”
