Not a regular Aldi shopper, went with a friend. So if some observations are "standard Aldi" you'll know that. Newer store, very bright and clean. Wide aisles very nice for navigating the wide carts. I realized that they basically don't carry typical American brands, it's private label or something like that. My friend needed mostly produce, and the selection & quality were good. There was no stock out for a deep-discount item she came for. The seasonal aisle was unkempt but had an interesting variety. Stealth hit: Winking Owl wine...quaffable and dirt cheap. I was happy to learn that they accept credit cards (you still need a physical quarter if you want a cart!). But there were no pack-your-own boxes when we checked out, happily my friend had a lot. Overall pricing was sharp, and tho selection was limited, I didn't feel like I was shopping in a heavy-discount place.

If you were planning on ordering groceries delivered from here I'd look elsewhere. Just took a order for lemons, bananas, bronze cut pasta, ricotta, and olive oil. Unless you order organic bananas they are all thrown in a box and mostly bruised. They didn't have any long bronze cut or ricotta. This happens all the time. Orders from here end up being such a waste of time. I get why everyone avoids these orders now

The store itself is great the employees not. I was there Friday afternoon July 29 and a male employee was so rude that it'll be at least several months before I step foot in that store again.

Ok, here's the deal...Cashiers have a goal of accurate ringing of minimum 40 items a minute. That is why they rush and cart so quickly. On the floor staff have many tasks and are timed too. No dialog with colleagues or customers so they are focused on product placements and cleaning.Glenview is not on schedule for self checkout. Kinda good because the stores i worked at with checkout have one cashier responsible to help customers at self checkout... not great.Oh, and cashier on duty at the register has to stop and page for additional cashier help when 4 customers waiting in line or more. All of this keeps prices low and staff at your service.

The store was not up to par with other grocery stores. Selections were limited. It had the feel of a Dollar Tree grocery store. There was not adequate help and those who were there seemed grumpy.

It’s a big one. They have some organic fruit and vegetables options which is great. They also have some good wine and beers.

Always huge lines. No self checkout and now they work only till 8pm. How these stores still exist is a real miracle because they do everything to chase away their customers

The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. The self checkouts are usually the quickest way to get in and out with just a few items.

Clean and orderly store with lots of options. They could have had one more cashier line open. It was quite busy.

Odd place, amazing prices. Not a full service grocery, but everything costs between 3/4 and 1/2 of what you'd find, elsewhere. It's not bad stuff, by any stretch, either. Good, quality food, it's just mostly prepackaged. That having been said, they don't have absolutely everything. If you're looking for top quality saffron, you'll probably have to go somewhere. But if you want common items like peppers or bread or steak, I'd check this place out!

Was too busy of a store but then again was before the holidays as to be expected. Some things were condenced down and oit of order. But some prices were better than jewel.
