From the moment you walk in, it’s a beautiful experience with calming music and wonderful front desk personnel. My mom and I talked with Michel and he is AMAZING! Made us comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed from shampoo and conditioner to toothbrushes etc. He walked us through the businesses and was compassionate and caring. It made me feel as ease and comfortable to know someone has our backs. Also a plus, it’s a Korean owned business along with some of the restaurants within walking distance! Highly highly highly recommend staying here! And say hi to Michel and the others, you won’t be disappointed!Rooms: Clean, concise has a fridge/freezer and microwave, flat screen and a nice walk in shower with support bars! So so so clean!!!Nearby activities: Great location in Glenview!Safety: No problems yetWalkability: So many things within walking distance with different Korean foods.Food & drinks: Breakfast looks so good so far.Noteworthy details: It has a beautiful lobby with a great bfast room!

We stayed here for a project close by. Yes it was a construction project, we work early and very late. Stayed 1 week. Staff was very kind, very clean in the lobby and breakfast area. Always smiled and helpful. Quality of the hotel is a bit worn down. Beds are comfortable but loud when moving around. The rooms are dark, they do need a refresher, smaller sink, get rid of the huge desks, bigger beds (if possible) not twin size.

Took longer than it should have to check in. Michael (French pronunciation) disappeared a couple times w/o explanation.First the positives: For room 206; the heating/cooling system worked flawlessly and was very quiet. Good water pressure in the shower. The TV, mini-fridge, micro all worked well. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. The Negatives: The phone was inoperable as it was totally disconnected with no wiring connections, the alarm clock was minimally working, the mattresses were lumpy and distorted, in real need of replacement, the carpet was filthy and needed replacement.Rooms: See previous comments.

The worse hotel I ever saw. We went to check in after 5 hours drive with kids. Rooms have very bad smokey smells and were so dirty. We requested to change rooms. Left to eat dinner and see the downtown. Came back rooms were not ready. They were dirty with bugs. Beds were broken. Big layers of dust like no one ever live there. They don't have any manager or anyone who can help them to give us rooms. Kids were tired and exhausted. After 2 hours they told us they can't give us room and we can try somewhere else. We had this reservation for weeks. We called all the places but no one take the night check in. We had planned for 2 days vacation and it got ruined by them. We had to drove back to our state after they wasted our hours of time. Drove back after 5 hours with kids. It was the worst trip of our life that we couldn't even get a chance to open our luggage. I will never recommend this place.Rooms: Dirty with bed bugs. Broken beds.

The front desk staff was very helpful.However...Bathroom fan would not remove humidity after a shower. Bathroom also had black mold from previous leak from toilet above our room. Housekeeping would not clean rooms unless specifically asked. Breakfast was free, but the choices were limited, and mostly consistent of eggs from a carton and questionable sausage. There were also some safety violations noted near the second floor so the machine and ice maker, which was position next to a near 10 inch hole for the drain pipe for overflow from the ice machine. All it's going to take is one child to get their foot stuck in there. The elevator was sketchy at best due to a slamming door. We will have to search elsewhere for accommodations next time.Rooms: Check your room as soon as you arrive. Multiple items were unplugged from power outlets, smoke detector was not fully attached to the ceiling...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Was it perfect, no. The breakfast was average, the bathroom had some cracks in the tub and ceiling, and the fitness room didn't have much. But all of that's okay! I'm not expecting every amenity to be top tier in a hotel like this. I loved the location to the restaurants and shops in the nearby shopping plaza and there were even a couple of parks in walking distance too. I will most definitely book the hotel again if I were to come back to the area.Rooms: A little outdated and some of the outlets didn't work but it was quiet, cozy, and comfortable.

I stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham Glenview (Illinois) for two nights recently (August 2023). I’d like to acknowledge the outstanding Customer Service I received from Emily and Michel at the front desk. Both of these outstanding employees went above and beyond to ensure my stay at the hotel was nothing but 100% perfect. They each were extremely personable, clearly explained the hotel’s amenities, provided suggestions of places to dine, etc. Additionally, my room was clean, comfortable, quiet and conveniently located near shopping areas. Thanks for a great stay!!!Rooms: Clean, quiet, comfortable.

I love this place! There are tons of good food spots to eat at literally walking distance away. The staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was great! My only complaint is that the vending machine on the second floor had some expired chocolate and pretzels in it. But even then it was still affordable $1.50 for chocolate, chips and sodas but the water is $2.00 I will definitely come back here!Rooms: Our room smelled good! You can tell it was clean.Walkability: A lot of food spots only walking distance.Food & drinks: Vending machine on the second floor, some candy and chips expired.

The location and service was amazing, the room...not so much. The bed was fine, but the pillows felt as if the stuffing was moldable. Like if you move too much in your sleep, the stuffing would only fill half the pillow. In addition there was a child's sock behind our bed, we have no child. The wires behind the bed are precariously taped exposed also. Finally and worst of all, there was mould in the bathroom. The whole room felt humid, but the bathroom always felt a little slippery when using it.

Rooms were very clean. The hotel did not have any weird smells or noises. Breakfast was decent. Water was hot. Staff was very friendly and the girl working the desk at night was very ecentric and very friendly. Parking was very accessible. A little difficult to find tucked in behind several different things and not really viewable from the street however it was definitely worth the price. it will be my new go to every time I'm in town. It just too bad all the hotel aren't this good.

This hotel was filthy and smelly! The entryway was dirty and impossible to get someone to help you. The hallways and stairwells stunk and the carpet was not vacuumed in a while. They edges and corners of the room were dusty and in the bathroom, moldy! The garbage still had the last guests garbage in it. The shower head was so low (I'm only 5'4") that you had to straddle the faucet in order to get under it to wash your hair. After showering and dressing, my feet were black! The carpet was filthy! The amenities were cheap no name. All night long we could hear the TV in the room next door and the guy upstairs walked all night. I've never stayed at a hotel with such thin walls and ceiling/floors! After seeing how dirty the entire hotel was, we skipped breakfast for fear of food poisoning. While leaving we asked others how there stay was and they said "not good, we are finding a different hotel". Spend a couple more bucks and get a decent place to spend the night. The pictures of the website are definitely deceiving!

The hotel is kinda run down. The hallways are creepy, the lights in our room didn't work, the AC in our room took several hours to cool the place off, and the air coming out of it smelled like it might have been moldy. On one side of the building is a noisy interstate highway and you can hear it.The shower was good except the shower head was a bit low. The bed was comfortable and clean. The pillows were fine. When I went to get breakfast at 8, the food was all gone. I had to tell the front desk and they refilled some of the food. I'm not sure why no one was paying attention to the breakfast supplies? The ABC lady at the front desk when we arrived was our favorite part of our stay. Super nice, personable, and helpful.

All of my expectations were exceeded with excellent and genuine service. I was extremely pleased with my stay here. Check in was a breeze. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Room was in good shape and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good quality but not many options. If i remember correctly, they had a waffle maker, bagels, toast, apples, bananas, and cereal. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.*** If you are looking for lots of amenities or high end hotel, this is not for you.

We paid extra to have a coffee pot in our room but there was no coffee pot. Talked to the front desk and they said they would correct it the next day. Next day, they said sorry but people keep stealing the pots, yet we could talk to the manager the next day. We called the next day while we were out and the manager said he was too busy to talk to us and hung up.Along with this issue, continuing internet issues only to be told its our room and they will have it fixed the day after we check out. Don't know how that makes sense. How does only one room have an issue with Wi-Fi? The T.V. would only work on a few of the local channels but all the rest would be glitchy. Again, they would fix it after we check out. But, here is the kicker, our bathroom still had hair in the sink, toothpaste on the window and the light would short out. We told them this and all the front desk girl said was she didn't believe us.I have been very patient. At this point, I'd recommend paying a little extra for a place that doesn't have the potential to burn down while the staff blankly stares and says we're sorry, but there is nothing we can do, don't believe you, are too busy to take your call or won't refund the extra we paid for the things we didn't get.
