Just had a very frustrating experience at this tire center. We had an appointment on Sunday to switch to winter tires, but due to the heavy snowfall, we arrived 15 minutes late. We were immediately told they could not honor the appointment and offered no flexibility at all, not even a walk in option or a next day slot. The only choice was to reschedule for Thursday. I understand policies, but there was absolutely no effort to work with us given the weather conditions.
We showed up for our rescheduled appointment at 7 PM on Thursday. After waiting in line to check in for over 20 minutes, my car wasn’t brought in until 8:20 PM, an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time. For a place that is extremely strict about customers being exactly on time, this was disappointing.
Then, after all that waiting, we were told at 8:40 PM that they couldn’t install the winter tires because two of them weren’t purchased from Costco. This was never mentioned during scheduling. They also said there was a “Tesla issue,” which again was never communicated beforehand. Wouldn’t have come back if we were made aware about the Tesla issue ahead of time. After being told they couldn’t perform the service, it still took until 9:16 PM to get my car back, with multiple employees standing around and my brother being the only customer there. It took 45 minutes just to return my car when they hadn’t done any work at all.
In total, we wasted over 2 hours for absolutely nothing, after already being turned away for being 15 minutes late earlier in the week. The inconsistency and lack of communication were incredibly frustrating.
We’ve come to this Costco tire center every year for tire switches and have purchased our tires here, but this experience was unacceptable. I don’t understand why my brother had to sit there for over two hours for the staff to ultimately do nothing.
Very disappointed in the service and how the situation was handled and will not be returning. Better service and wait times at local shops.

They ordered the wrong set of tires and I only found that out after I dropped off my car for the installation.
They didn’t do anything to try to compensate for their mistake and I’m hoping the next set of tires they order are the correct ones.
I wouldn’t recommend going to this tire center since they don’t really care about the customer experience.

This place is a joke! It takes at least 5 phone calls for anyone to answer the phone. Once the tires were mounted, my tire pressure light was still on and was told it would turn itself off after a few miles. It did not! Took it to my mechanic who turned off the indicator light and he said one of the tires was not filled completely. They also did not provide tire caps even though my old tires each had one.
When I arrived to pick up the car, I waited 10 minutes for someone to help me check out. Poorly run place.

Horrible experience. On the first wheel, the kid couldn’t get a lug nut off. Insisted that I had to take the car to another mechanic shop to loosen all of the lug nuts for him! Since I had already ordered the tires and waited for them to arrive, I made an appointment with another mechanic for two days later and had the lugs loosened. They came right out with the air wrench. No issues. Then drove back unsafely with loose lug nuts. The Costco employee said to leave the car. Got a ride home. Then they call me to come back because they can’t safely do their job and change the tires because they want me to get new lug nuts. (I think he was just being lazy.) The other mechanic had had no issue with them. Which lug nuts is an issue? He wants all 20 replaced. None of them are stripped or visibly damaged. And I can’t order them on Amazon. He says they only acccept dealer parts. I have to go to a dealer, where they cost over $200, and buy the original parts and come back or they won’t change the tires! So it ends up being 4 trips to Costco, 1 trip to a mechanic to loosen the lugs for them, and 1 trip to a dealer! Enormous waste of my time and money. Horrible service. And incompetent kids who can’t loosen lug nuts themselves.

Came here 10:30 am for new tire installation. Now it's 1:40pm and finally done. I was about to give 1 star but the way how the technician treated me including apologies and some discount was pretty satisfying so here are 5 stars.

You can’t beat Costco on prices, guarantees or services. We got tires from them and the prices were more than competitive. But love the free tire rotations every 6,000 miles.
Everything is good until they forget to call us when the car was ready. We waited until near closing and ask. Not a big deal.

Today, I had a flat tire at the Costco in Patriot, and I cannot thank Vanessa, the manager, and Bill from the tire center enough for their amazing help. Vanessa immediately stepped in to assist me, and Bill went above and beyond by swapping out my spare tire and patching the old one.
Their kindness and professionalism truly made my day. This is exactly why I always choose Costco—because of incredible people like Vanessa and Bill, who are always ready to provide quality service and lend a helping hand.

Half hour to do a core return on a battery.Member desk inside store said that they can't do it, has to be done in te tire center. There was no one in line in front of me. It just took that long for someone to come to the counter to process my core return.

Costco tires lasted 24,000 miles instead of 55,000 because I missed a rotation. The reason for the missed rotation is because I had an appointment and they told me to come in early. After 4 hours of waiting I had to pick up my children so I needed the car without rotation. Definitely not buying tires here again.

Horrible, horrible service. The manager is of no use. Better to just pay some extra money and get tires else where. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time we’ve had issues with the tire center. Would not recommend.
