Being a 5/3 bank customer, my wife and I were at this branch on Friday (around 2 pm) to get a notary public's signature on a document. We were snuffed off by a Korean manager(?) and were told to go to anther 5/3 branch in Glenview. The lobby was almost empty and staff were there, including a notary public who helped us before. We asked the manager if an appointment was needed to meet with a notary public. She said no. We then asked if we could wait till a notary public became available. She said no again. We were simply shown the door out. BTW, we were dressed properly and well presented and behaved.
It was insulting and unthinkable for 5/3 bank customers to be brushed off this way in their own 5/3 bank branch. We will not use this bank as our financial center.
Yes, we went across the street to Chase Bank on Pfingsten where we got the document notarized with courtesy but no wait and no snuffing.

Possibly the worst bank in Chicago. Customer service is abysmal. Managers are equipped with zero smiles and seem miserable at work. Park your money where are considered a customer .?x5

One of the workers helped me out with a transaction error I had and was able to clearly explain what I needed to do to sort it out. Thank goodness for them.
