I would like to point out this branch is very inefficient and to be honest a pain to go to please streamline and make your services more efficient may lead to happier employees too

0.5/5 just want to reach out and let busey know nothing has improved, I still cannot stand the quality of service from the bank itself. it's unreliable, prioritizes privacy over functionality, misfunctions 10x more than any other bank I've worked with, Zelle frequently doesn't work, the bank balance frequently displays the wrong amount. when I escalate these issues the bank refuses to take responsibility and they always blame the retailer. The retailer doesn't control your app, busey does. It's your responsibility to have a functioning app. I have capital one and it has so many great customer focused features, it's user friendly and it has had an issue once in the past 6 months.
if I messaged every time busey caused issues it would be a second job. It's not whoever gets this messages fault, but the message needs to be sent to the company. I'm putting in my public review as well. I'm sick of this, years with no improvement when I didn't even choose this godforsaken bank to begin with. it bought out the community bank Glenview State Bank and it couldn't have left it's previous costumers in the dust more. Glenview State Bank never had issues with their apps or their service. Surprise, big banks don't do it better.

Though the staff is very nice, the bank is extremely behind the times. There limits on Zelle are absolutely ridiculous! Considering that we now live in a world without checks. This was a complete pain and inconvenience! I would not recommend banking here. They really are behind the times.

The former Glenview state bank now Busey bank on Waukegan rd in Glenview has the most untrustworthy of trust rep Cheryl W. Is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever had at this most difficult bank to be locked to and is unable to do her job and has cost me very much money because of her sloppy and inattentive care of the terms on my trust!!!!

I would highly recommend. Over draft fees are way to high though.

I went to this bank to cash in my checks. The lady said that she needed more identification after me giving her my state ID. What a terrible service. Not just that but she kept asking me the same question 3 times after I had already answered. What a SERVICE!

Why are the ATMs for Busey locations never open? Very frustrating.

This bank is the absolute worst. They bought out my local bank and since then the service has gone down and the fees have gone up. I tried to open a student account for my daughter going to college. We applied online because their web site says, "Why wait in line? Open your Busey account online ... it's quick and easy!" Sounds great! Well after we filled out all the forms online it said we had to call the bank anyway. We did. No one answered. So we left a voicemail. Someone called back the next day and left a message to call them back. We called again. Again no answer. Then they stopped calling us back. We are trying really hard to give them new business, and they don't answer the phones and stop calling back... Who runs a business like this?I noticed a new fee on my paper statements. Turns out they charge a paper statement fee now. My old bank did not. So I looked at all our accounts and sure enough they had been charging this for a couple of months already - without advance warning. Not a huge deal, but it's just typical of a big corporate bank: nickel-and-diming you to death. They have started sending us credit card applications in the mail on a regular basis now. I don't want these. They are prone to credit fraud if they end up in the wrong person's hands, especially given that the postal service regularly misdelivers our mail. I worked in direct marketing, so I know a bit about the junk mail industry. I am on the national "do not mail" list. I am not supposed to get credit card applications, but Busey doesn't care, they send them to me and my daughter anyway all the time now. I guess I'll have to contact them and tell them to stop.Today was the topper. My son, a minor with a custodial account, was just charged a $30 service fee for some unknown reason. I opened a chat window with them to inquire. If it's like the last time I "chatted" with them, they will get back to me in a day or two. I opened this account to teach my son about banking and saving money. Well I guess we're both learning - that this bank stinks.I am closing all my accounts here as soon as feasibly possible. Typical big corporate bank. I miss my old bank... Why did they sell out to these guys?

Sad excuse for a bank. First of all the banker who got my new account started was like 19, gave me wrong account number, could not set up app, gave me nothing but bad information. Not even close to being knowledgeable with her position at that bank. I thought I was making an improvement with my banking but apparently not here.

Glenview State Bank was a gem. Customer service was paramount and it was indeed a small town bank feeling. Unfortunately, Glenview State Bank ("GSB") was purchased by Busey Bank. Busey Bank = Wells Fargo. Customer Service is a thing of the past. With Busey you are a number, not a customer. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere and find a bank that will meet your needs unless you are a fan of the Wells Fargo business model.
