The room had all the bare necessities. Everything was clean and organized when I got to the room. The highway might be disturbing if you’re a light sleeper as trucks pass by all night, but other than that the room was great! Front desk worker was super chill and check in was quick. Great option if ur visiting Chicago on a shoestring budget.

Management here is really good! It is hard to find managers that care nowadays but I assure you that Ana goes above and beyond to provide guests with whatever they need for a positive stay. She is diligent, respectful, polite and informative. I would recommend this location to anyone! Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and location!Rooms: Clean and fully functional.Safety: Very safe, security cameras located at every corner. Not a party motel!Non-smoking, that is obviously enforced. You could stay here with children with no worries.

Our recent stay at Motel 6 Glenview was nothing short of disappointing and left a lasting impression, and not for the right reasons. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone. Our experience was marked by racial discrimination, serious handicap accommodation and compliance issues, and a complete lack of understanding from the general manager Ana, who has been employed with Motel 6 since 1997.Firstly, it is deeply unsettling to acknowledge that racial discrimination still exists in this day and age. One of my employees, who is a black man, experienced outright discrimination at the hands of the motel staff. Such treatment is unacceptable and has no place in any establishment, let alone a motel that should be open to all. This behavior goes against the principles of inclusivity and respect. In addition, the handicap accommodation at this Motel 6 was woefully inadequate. The facilities were far from accessible, and it was apparent that the motel had not made the necessary adjustments to accommodate guests with disabilities. This is a blatant violation of the law, and the management's lack of attention to this issue is a disservice to the disabled community. The compliance issues were not limited to handicap accommodations. The manager's refusal to accept power of attorney, despite the existence of a legal document, was baffling. This refusal added unnecessary stress to our stay and showed a lack of understanding of basic legal procedures. It is essential for any accommodation to be aware of and follow legal requirements, particularly when dealing with sensitive matters such as power of attorney.Furthermore, the manager's explanation regarding room cleaning policy was perplexing. We have video evidence recorded with Ana where she says that the staff must clean rooms with the door closed and without our presence, citing it as Motel 6's policy. This was concerning for us because we had our dogs and a family member with controlled pain medications. Allowing the staff to clean the room without our presence is not only uncomfortable but also potentially unsafe. There should be flexibility in such policies to accommodate the needs of guests with pets and medical requirements. In summary, my experience at Motel 6 was overshadowed by racial discrimination, severe handicap accommodation issues, and a lack of understanding from the manager regarding legal documents and guest preferences. I sincerely hope that Motel 6 reevaluates its policies and staff training to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all guests. Discrimination and negligence should never be tolerated, especially in the hospitality industry and thus we are looking into filing suit against this Motel 6, the franchisor, and all parties involved.Safety: This Motel 6 has exterior doors where the keycard access did not work while we were at the property.Noteworthy details: Not handicap accessible, no shower chairs available, restrooms does not have ease with transferring someone who is in a wheelchair to use the bathroom.

Everything from the check in, which I was early for, to accommodating anything I requested was easy and smooth. Alexa, who works the front desk was extremely easy to go to with any request or questions I had. And her mother and her, who is the manager helped me deal with me being stuck downtown when I was late to check out with my belongings in my room still. Every employee I encountered from cleaning staff, to maintenance to the front desk was always respectful and helpful.Rooms: Clean and comfortableNearby activities: Lots of different food options and a beautiful nature area 2 minutes away.

We stayed here for the weekend and the service was horrible. Firstly the front desk staff are really rude and unhelpful. The shower in the room was not working and when we complained the guy in the front Luis was rude and said he can’t do anything. The next day we got locked outside the door because there was some fault but they blamed it on us we asked them to help us out but all we got was rude replies from the girl who works at night. She suggested us to break in from the window as I had to catch a flight while trying to get my stuff from the window the glass was broken accidentally and they charged me $150 for it. It was their fault that my belongings were stuck inside and then instead of helping me out they put all the blame on me and charged me unnecessarily. I will never book here again. It was the worst experience ever. Really horrible. Save your money

Friendly staff. Decent internet. Well lit parking lot. Can get loud a bit due to highway near by,but it isn't to bad. Rooms are basic, been here a few times all the rooms I've been in have clogged drains. 4 dryers and washers. It's a decent stay alot quieter than the Palatine location. Restaurants within walking distance. Overall it's a decent stay nothing fancy.

I thought I’d come back since last time I had a pleasant time but the front desk is incredibly rude and arrogant. Why work at a hotel if you don’t enjoy it? do nothing about roaches & ants in my room. mouse traps outside it makes it look trashy. the hallways smell like dog pee/smoke and so will your room. I stayed a few months ago, and the customer service was great. The girl with red hair that checked us in last time was way more patient and friendly.

It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed! They didn’t even provide a shampoo or hair dryer in rooms. The local phone did not work so that we can ask them for a better service. The mattress was so uncomfortable and used.No electric kettle or tea bag. They didn’t even have a microwave to warm up the food! And when I asked them to warm it up with their own microwave or stove top, they didn’t accept. It DOES NOT worth a penny!

This matter has been resolved however let me tell you what happened here. My gf and I checked in for 2 nights. We used a 3rd party booking service. On the second day we got a call at 11 am asking if we were checking out. Confused I replied no we have the room booked another day. The employee working there denied and rejected the booking even though I had an invoice with confirmation of booking. We were forced to leave immediately. The booking company did an investigation and refunded me. However, this is a very tough time for us living day to day paycheck to paycheck and could not afford that to happen. The refund took about a week and during that time we slept in the car a night because we could not afford paying for 2 hotels in one day. The worker at the front desk was very unfriendly and did not care about the sensitivity of the situation. When my gf heard over the phone we were being forced to leave she made a comment to me about how the worker is a “P.O.S.” The worker heard her saying that to me so he said if we were not out of the room within the hour he would have us removed. I apologized for her outburst but he was not accepting it. But I stand by my girlfriend, anyone who forces a person to the street with nowhere to go, due to their own incompetence is a P.O.S. Do not stay here if you wish to be treated fairly. If you don’t want to be called a P.O.S. Then don’t treat people like trash. It is such a strange thing, people who know me think I’m an honest upstanding guy who goes out of his way to help people. Yet when encounters like this happen, you can’t help but to feel negatively about how you are being treated. So when someone threatens your well being, how do you react?

My room had ants, and it was lacking in storage, but overall, it was decent. I don't recall housekeeping coming by at any point, which could go either way if that's good or bad. There's good food just a bit further down the road within walking
