Sue is an amazing resource for iStorage! She helped me transfer into a unit that was better suited for my needs. - UPDATE: they JACKED my rental unit space up to almost $200 a month! Not worth the price for the location and overall quality of the grounds.
Thanks to Sue I didn't cancel altogether.

Elevator always not working!!!! This has been going on for a long time now!!! They refuse to do any work there. But keep rising the rent!!

Stay away! The facility is very poorly run and shabby. Worst is the elevator in one bldg has been out for over 6 months.
For a long time, there was no local management, just a phone number on the locked office door. I have complained to upper mgt and received no satisfaction, just continuing excuses.
I should say the new manager is very nice but essentially powerless to rectify problems.
Be warned - the elevators are of the same vintage - even if they show you a unit in the other building, it is sure to fail soon and you'll be stuck like me.
Beyond the elevators, the place is not well kept. Carpets are filthy, the fence is collapsing, interior lights don't work all the time and the hand carts are broken. Although I've never seen vermin, there are rat traps all around. So it must be a problem for some tenants.
I recently gave up and moved to another facility nearby. The final insult is an overcharge on my last bill that I now have to address. UGH.

Easy to get to convenient storage. Lots of options to choose from and Sue is great. She keeps an eye on things and is very helpful! Some pot holes around the area need to be repaired though.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. This storage facility is a nightmare.
I booked a climate controlled unit and when I arrived at the facility there was no way to get to my unit. I came with my movers and half a truck of stuff, and I couldn't access the place, there's no map, no logical progression of numbers, nothing. Also it's a multi-story building with no elevator, are people expected to carry dozens of boxes up multiple flights of stairs? I went to the office during business hours (as posted on the door), it was completely closed, lights off. I called iStorage to get information about the location of my unit and the elevator, they had no idea and hung up on me. So here I am paying movers by the hour with nowhere to put my stuff and no one to assist me. It was horrible and I hope others won't have to deal with such a stressful situation, find a different! storage unit!

I normally don't leave reviews... good or bad. Although, I recently visited iStorage - Glenview location. Where I met Sue who was SUPER awesome!!! She helped me on the process of clearing out my mothers storage units and filing my POA documents. Unfortunately I feel like great customer service is a rare thing now-a-days. So I thought I'd share my great experience and let people know it is very much appreciated!

This place has full of cockroaches!
I don’t know how to get my stuff out now!
I asked any solution but store manager tried to blame it on me and ghosted.
Now I know why they were desperately asking for 5 star reviews!
