I visited the facility to renew my passport and was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. The employee who assisted me was unprofessional, dismissive, and clearly untrained in following standard passport procedures. Not only did she provide incorrect information, but she also failed to follow the official mailing instructions, resulting in my passport being sent to the wrong facility. This has caused unnecessary delays and stress, especially given the importance and time-sensitive nature of passport processing.
Additionally, I found her demeanor to be inappropriate for a customer-facing position. She appeared distracted, more focused on eating than assisting customers, and made no effort to communicate clearly or respectfully throughout the process.
The level of service is unacceptable from a federal facility handling sensitive documents

The vitriol toward this place is - to me - incomprehensible...I've been coming here for years and never once had a bad experience. The clerks & carriers are kind as can be, interior of the office is always clean and neatly organized, essentially the ideal village post office. Far too many seem to take the USPS for granted. Once in a blue moon I've had a minor mix-up or two, but nothing worth writing about. Whatever issues the post office has are with upper-level management, not any of the hardworking personnel who are out there every day, keeping the service alive and running.

I called to see if our mail was there ( it had been on hold and was supposed to be in Winnetka but it was rerouted somehow. The postmaster in Winnetka thought it would be in Winnetka. I called to find out if it was there. have laryngitis to my voice is faint which I explained. He heard much of what I said but got frustrated ( I guess) did not answer my question and hung up. Then did not answer when I called back. Very disappointing.

This USPS station is absolutely the worst! They marked two parcels as delivered at 10:34 AM and 12:36 PM to our business address on Friday, even though we were open from 8 AM to 5 PM and no deliveries were made. We reviewed our video surveillance footage, and no one even attempted to deliver anything that day. When I spoke to the carrier on Monday, she couldn’t remember if she was the one who marked the packages as delivered three days earlier. There’s no one at the station who will actually listen to your concerns or resolve any issues. I really hope a private company buys this government agency and turns it into an efficient shipping service. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service!

This place is slower than I am during vertigo. They seem always to be understaffed and disorganized. And don’t get me started on grumpy Passport guy. I would recommend going to one of the smaller post offices in neighboring villages. It’s worth the drive

The slowest and laziest employees I've ever seen. Always huge line on the top of that the kiosk is never working. I still don't know how these people are not fired ...probably because it's a governmental job and no one cares...shame

I paid $30 for usps express mail, it was supposed to be delivered the next day.
It was delivered on the 3rd day. It was too late. They are not doing their jobs.

I booked passport appointment a week ago for my 5 months old baby but never received the confirmation email which I thought its fine since online it did say conform the date and time* so I just add to my calendar i wasn't worried about an email so we went ahead and took a day off from work we were there 20 minutes before our appointment we waited 1 hour after our appointment so it was our turn finely they realized our name wasn't there which is fine I explained my self to them FYI when they Clearly not going by appointment because Prior family of 5 people did not have an appointment they took them so I'm like we took a day off for this so please do something it may be a system Issu they called the manager Mrs Hi which he's clueless dosent even know how to talk not Professional at all doesn't even care he kept say look people waiting ...This is the worst post office ever except Patrick was very nice he handled professionally he was about to do it but the manger refused Patrick did say they have everything ready to go but the manager Decided to go by appointment and sent us home very disappointed when Clearly everybody was backed up.Everybody was an hour late for their appointment.
