Bought a Hart Schaffner Marx winter coat at Von Maur Glenview in December. Wore it once and then noticed there was a hole in the pocket. I brought it back to the store and kindly asked if they'd do a simple repair. Easy task for a $350 coat. They said I would have to dry clean first before they'd fix. I said "what?, I've only worn the coat once!". They said that's our policy. They didn't offer to exchange. I'm not paying $50 to have a brand new coat dry cleaned. Sorry, Jim Von Maur. Service at your store has sadly slipped. See ya!

I was very disappointed to walk into your store on January 2 and see that all the Christmas decorations were taken down!I would at least expect Christmas decorations to be up until the 12 days of Christmas pass.Even the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York stays up until January 13th.Also, you should offer your Christmas wrapping through January 7. There are over 300 million Orthodox Christians living throughout the world that celebrate Christmas on a different day and a different Easter as well.I can’t get my gifts wrapped with Christmas paper because you take it away:(

I love this store. The products are a notch above most everywhere else. Displays are nice - not too crowded and unorganized. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. It's my go to for a special item.

Last-minute shopping and Christmas is in the air! Love all the positivity and smiles going around. Met a darling girl in the perfume section that reminded me of my youngest sister, she helped me while I talked her ears off, the poor thing. Happy Holidays to the Von Maur team!

There is a sales person in the children's department that is fantastic. I wanted a coat for my granddaughter and they didn't have her size, but Cristina, the sales person, called me as soon as she got a new shipment with my granddaughter's size. It was very nice of her. Congratulations to von maur and hope Cristina will be appreciated by her good work and kindness.

I love Von Maur, especially the sale sections. They have a nice variety of things. It’s a good place to buy gifts, too. The complimentary gift wrapping is a lifesaver. You can find some good deals. Also, the staff is helpful and friendly. Von Maur will always be my favorite department store. #VonMaur4Life ?

Von Maur has very unusual items, and a great petite section, great selection of shoes. Their credit cards are interest free, very classy store , not too many sales; but worth it.

I've heard from many that Von Maur is the place to go for kids shoes among other things. I had never been, but when I passed it a few days ago and had some time to kill wandered inside for a bit. It's a beautiful department store and everyone who works there could not have been nicer. I was asked over and over if I needed help, but I was just browsing. I did some browsing in the contemporary section and then headed up to kids where I purchased lots of great nike, sports, etc clothing that my boys would love. There was a lot of great sales as well. Now that I've discovered it I have a feeling I"ll be back!

Will always find it here if you've looked everywhere else. It's not that close to where I live so I do forget about it but when I'm having a hard time finding something it's here. Thank you
