“This is now a Dollar Tree Plus and it's cute to see the items they offer online. Everything is clearly marked if it's more than $1.25. Staff could be a little friendlier and helpful.”

“I visit this dollar tree location at least once a week and I just want to say how amazing SAM (MANAGER) is. She is very helpful asking customers if they need help smiling, it’s always a good experience when she’s there. She should give a lesson to a couple of the workers there.”

“One of my local go-to places in the area. Lines often get a lil long for the amount of staff working, but the manager is pretty good at handling that. I also like how the manager seems mean to most people, but she's just really no-nonsense, with staff AND customers. “Today there was an experience where a lady with kids ended up breaking a whole aisle full of glasses and the two ladies working were so good about how they handled it. The store was as clean as it could be it's an older store and the staff that was on duty today was beautiful.”
“Happened to shop here for the vitamins here aren't too expensive. The fruit and accessories are to good to come by. I likely shopped to the extent of essential items such as q tips and shampoo and razors. The use of purchasing a iTunes card at the reasonable credit also helps. Nevertheless a great store to come through and shop.”
“I like going to this Dollar General when I don't want to shop at the grocery store. This DG has everything, canned goods, soda, cleaning products, OTC medications, make-up, everything. Very convenient and the employees are always helpful and courteous. I know they work very hard there.”
“I just came out of the Steger DG and needed to write a review right away. Marque is definitely a keeper. He greets you on your way in the store and checks people out with great customer service. If I was still in management I would want to steal him from you”

“Want to give a shout out to the young lady who was working the April 30 night shift. Apparently she was the only person who showed up for work. The line was half way down the store and she kept apologizing to everyone for the wait. Why you short staff your store so much is really sad. I know it happens being a retail manager myself. I hope she gets recognition for doing such a fantastic job. Would hire her in a minute.”

“I don't know if I dealt with one of the store's manager today just now, or not, but I have to say that this was the most pleasant experience I've had at a Dollar tree in a long time. They had everything I was looking for, as well as obviously being cheaper than the surrounding competition.. They also made it a point to make me comfortable enough to ask questions in regards to location and price for each and every item I needed. They didn't bother me, but they also didn't push me away when I really needed to know certain things.
Yeah.....it's a dollar store. I might not get the greatest quality in regards to the items I purchase. However, it also isn't garbage I'm purchasing, either. They (those working at the Dyer location, that is) make darn sure that each and every customer has been attended to. And I am NOT just saying that. I know service jobs are really stressful, and it is VERY damn hard to keep your composure at times. But they make it look damn easy, especially when you really do get some knucklehead customers that are never satisfied with anything. It's hard, and you can't please everybody...a d yet they attempt to, regardless.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE DESERVES A RAISE IN PAY. I'M NOT SAYING THIS JUST TO MAKE THE PEOPLE THAT WAITED ON ME FEEL BETTER. I'M SAYING THIS BECAUSE I FELT COMFORTABLE IN THAT STORE AND NOT EMBARRASSED.
Bottom line is.....the Dyer store is doing a damn good job in making me feel comfortable where I happened to shop for groceries and personal items.
I MOST DEFINITELY plan on coming back in the near future.....which is more than likely going to be tomorrow afternoon. The manager they have now, as well as the employees, must really enjoy whomever they work for. They do a damn good job in regards to HOW things are done.
And I know by now I must sound like a broken record, but they also do a damn good job as to WHY certain things get done as well. The service/retail industry is a rough one, to say the least. But whomever runs this specific local knows what they are doing at least. I hope it remains this way, to be honest.
I plan on seeing everyone again today, simply because my mom most definitely forgot what else she needed at the store, hahahaha!

“Even though Dollar Tree jumped up a whopping 25 per cent with no prior notice. You can still find interesting things to purchase. I actually considered not going back to the store after the price shock and content reduction of some of it's products. But I realized there are some tasty and unique offerings to be found there. At $1.25 a few products are over the top, but you can still get some great bargains. Yes dollar and a quarter tree is still on my list of go to stores.”
“Very clean store, opened up one minute early, so that the shoppers could come in for Father's Day June 16th 2024 I was surprised to see this store have the higher price items actually mixed in along the shelf with the other Dollar items different than I've seen in any other dollar store in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan.
To that note, there were many different health and beauty our products as well as food products besides the ones in the freezer section priced between $1.50 and $5.”

“For the convenience and it is in our neighborhood. BUT ... they need to keep it stocked and clean. I was disappointed during a recent visit. it was cluttered. shelves were disorganized as well as refrigerated section. No shopping carts to shop with and store wasn't even full. no bags at self checkout. Poorly run. Landscaping looking beautiful though”
“It's really organized and the girls were working there were really nice. This store has improved a lot recently and has plenty of items in stocks. They also have in site security which unfortunately has become necessary at this location.”
“When I walked in the Dollar General, I was greeted with a sincere hello, and welome to Dollar General, not the robotic hello. I had to come on here to do a review. I overheard the phone ring, and a customer was asking if they had an item. She HAPPILY placed the customer on hold, and went to check to see if they had the item. Came back and informed the customer. I was looking for a particular item. She showed me where it should have been, but they were all out of stock. She was genuine and sincere while I was checking out. This is definitely rare these days. I told her to stay the way she is, and that it was appreciated.”
