My Grandfather was here and received atrocious treatment. The staff lied to my family about the "care" he had recieved. There comes a time when you may need to place your loved one at a facilty for professional care. Please do not send them here.

Don’t know what happened to my first review. Just figure I’ll share my experiences there. Listen up don’t be fooled by the appearance on the outside. When you get in facility it’s smells like straight urine, flies and nets around there doing they thang. That place is not kept, the lack of care those patient receiving is ridiculous. The conditions I found them in made me cry. This place is by far the worst facility I went to working for agency. That place is the “trenches” for real! I thought I was being prank at first until no one came out and said “Got Cha” Now I’m a hero but I can’t save everyone I feel so sorry for the patients in there. They are short staff all around.. My opinion they need to just close the place down. I wouldn’t send my dog there to get his stitches remove smh…

Glenwood is an AWSOME place to work.... I have been employed here since September and it has been a great experience...... The staff is very knowledgeable about the building and the new process..Looking forward to spending more years to come...

I worked here here for three days and when I got my check it was short a day. I kept copies of all my time sheets and I handed them in on time! So the day I went to get my check they only paid me for my 5 hours of orientation and 2 days of training! I spoke to the Hr lady Courtney and see told me to have the scheduler Kelly sign off on my timesheet which was already signed by the person that orientated me! I went up there today to have Kelly sign my time sheet and she told me she can't sign anything without Courtney approval! Then they told me to come back when Courtney is there! This place is very unprofessional and why was my check short in the first place when I gave them Monday and Tuesday timesheet together? I worked my 8 hours like I was supposed to so what's the problem paying me my money? I feel that, that was something personal against me because I decided to work some where else! And I even told them I would not be returning to work at that facility because I found another job! Some people don't even do that! They just do a no call no show! This is so unprofessional!

My mother was at this horrible facility last August for only 2 days. She was complaining nonstop on how terrible they were treating her. So I decided to show up unannounced, I'm so glad I did. I saw first hand for myself the neglect. They hadn't showered her and she had feces still on her from the night before. I then had to shower my mother since none of the workers did their job, but smiled in my face that morning and told me they would take good care of my mother. What a LIE!! I wouldn't allow my dog Diamond to stay at this deplorable place. Only if I had read the other reviews first I wouldn't have made such an error with taking her there. Its obvious this place needs to be shut down!! I feel sorry for anyone that's still currently there, please check on your loved ones and get them out of this place ASAP!!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. If you really care for your loved ones you wouldn’t. They killed my father by neglecting medical care. When asked how this happened I was told they are sorry! They don’t know this could have happened but they are investigating. How could fail at doing the very thing my dad was sent there to receive. No matter how many apologies you give it won’t bring my father back.

I used to be a resident here, and it's an absolute HELL HOLE. The place was dirty, smelled like amonia and urine and feces CONSTANTLY, the showers always had cold water, Robert(one of the cooks) had missing teeth, always smelled like he never bathed, had serious body odor issues, and was always sweating while cooking with these large pit stains underneath his armpits(it's called soap, water, a scrub brush, and deodorant for a REASON!), the food wasn't palatable(I lived off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and soup-healthy I know....), money, personal items, and clothing were a hot commodity to be stolen and when it was reported gone, no one would ever DO anything about it, about 99% of the staff had major attitude issues, they mixed patients with dementia/Alzheimers in with regular patients and patients with serious psychiatric disorders, and no one of the staff took responsibility for whatever happened or went wrong there. One time, I had to change my own bandages once because the wound care nurse at the time, Stephanie, had left already for the day despite me calling multiple times to tell her to come and do the bandages BEFORE she left. The water in the showers was always cold, and they never took the prerogative to actually fix said problem. I ended up getting a wound on the interior of my right foot, and when I had the bandages on to long since the wound care nurse rarely changed them(and I probably wouldn't have lost my leg because of it), there would be GNAT FLIES buzzing around the foot, despite me having a blanket and a sock covering the foot and bandages. I ended up being hospitalized for a MRSA infection in of the bone/wound, and had to stay longer than they originally thought I would need to at the hospital, so I got kicked out after being in the hospital for too long, and when my parents told them they'd be there at this date and near this time to pack up my belongings nice and neat, and when my parents did arrive at the 'nursing home', they handed my Mom and Dad all of my belongings in plastic garbage bags(WITH a ton of my clothing, books, and personal items missing!!!), and told them I wasn't welcome back. It was a HUGE, HUGE blessing in disguise. I ended up in a much better nursing home that was a lot closer to my family. Moral of this you say? DO NOT SEND YOUr LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!!
