You never know when this store is open. It seems to open and close at random times even in the middle of the day. Forget about the hours posted for the closing time.

I have come by the store three times in the last week during business hours and the door is still locked. Nobody answers the phones and the business is obviously closed. I stood around and waited over five minutes to make sure it wasn’t just an employee on their own taking a bathroom break. And in that time three or four other potential customers pulled up and we all decided it wasn’t worth our time standing out side and we would take our business to Walmart or elsewhere.
I wouldn’t even waste your time trying to drive to this location. Extremely unprofessional.

The shelves are poorly organized, some items missing from spot and randomly placed in other areas in the store..most DGs are similar, understaffed and unorganized

Have good prices and some items not found in other places! Was looking for nail file and found one here! Also found the soft Nutter Butters my husband loves! Thank you for clean friendly store!

No one answers the phone at the Godfrey IL Monticello Shopping Plaza’s phone. I left a bag there and was trying to call and confirm it. The cashier was too busy on her cell phone to even notice I still had a bag there. Normally the cashiers will tell you “ oh you still have a bag”. While shopping this same young lady was supposed to be stocking shelves but she was too busy talking selfies for Snapchat’s. This young woman was tall. A little over weight and shoulder length dark hair. I am disappointed in myself for not catching her name. I usually patronize this store because it is usually well kept etc. not anymore this young lady could of cared less about your customers. Also I am out the money and my purchases because no one will answer the phone. I do not live close so I am not getting back in my car to go check.

They never ever have both registers open. The line is ALWAYS long. Its always a huge inconvenience to wait that long for just a few items...i always regret my decision to even go into this location. I have even been there and the line would be clear to the back of the store and employees will just be walking through the store peeking thru the aisles at the massive line and won't even attempt to help. Its horrible. I have never seen such a thing and ive worked at dollar general.
