“I had a tire ho down on my SUV between Springfield & Jacksonville, IL on 6/9/23, my way to coach a HS summer baseball game. It wasn’t a complete blowout but it was an immediate lose of air pressure. Shortly after I pulled over to access the tire, a USA Trucking semi pulled over in front of me. Vinny, the driver of truck C0754, explained that he had an air compressor & was willing to help.Before I knew it, Vinny pulled out a tire patch kit & got on the ground to patch the nail size hole in my tread. He then aired the tire up completely & offered to keep following me to a truck stop 10 miles down the road, where they could get a better look at the tire. It’s now the next morning & the tire is still holding air. Vinny wouldn’t let me compensate him for his time or his patch kit. Huge shout out to Vinny from USA Trucking, what a genuinely caring person.”
