Our experience was great Fran was great we were arriving early in morning she had room unlocked and ready for us. Room was very clean and smelled clean it is perfect location if you are going to hog rock motorcycle rally. Price was very affordable. We left about midnight on our way home Fran was up so she wished us a safe trip home. Best manager we ever met

First time entering room one bed was covered in cat urine along eith the sheets, blankets, and comforters along with a few spiders on the pillows.

Dirty filthy carpet..mold in shower,filthy walls with patched holes exposed. No dead bolts on doors,an old abandoned house falling down next door was the only scenery.Rooms: Just not well maintained and dirty save for sheets.Safety: No dead bolts,my alarm clock was being woke at 6 30am by emergency services looking for overdose subject.

The P.D. had the keys to get in as the manager was ordered not tomrwturn and owner lives in Texas. The linens hadn't been changed and had dirt, makeup, hair and bugs. fridge had bugs, LD food and hair. Nothing in the room was clean. We were let in every room, including the managers living unit looking for a key to the original room we booked. it had drugs and paraphernalia scattered around the hoarder looking room. it was shockingly gross. We didn't stay. Do yourself a favor or and find another room. This one was...well the P.D. had to let us in. if you can figure that one out clue me in cause that isn't the norm.

Unity Lodge was a nice rim for a good price to visit the Shawnee National Forest. The room I stayed in was very clean, and room service in the morning was friendly. One thing I thought was odd is that there was plastic on the mattresses. It kind of sounded like an infant crib mattress with that rustling sound every time I turned over. It also candid 2 make it a bit sweatier then a normal bad would be. There was parking on site, but the spot on the one end was fairly tight.Another interesting thing is that there was no microwave. There was a burner and a toaster oven provided, and that would have been fine, but there were no pans or anything provided.Overall, this was a great price and a very clean room, and I would go back.

We booked a room here in a last minute decision, we were not disappointed. Very clean and updated rooms. Excellent service as well. Close to recreations, restaurants and historical landmarks. Definitely would book again!

Place is a joke! Arrived they had to clean the room prior to us being able to go in! Reservation was made 48 hours in advance. We received a confirmation email! After we were settled two attendants come to the room told us we didn’t have a reservation, seem a little slow on the uptake!

July 30, 2022The availability last minute was great. The location is good.The overgrowth of bushes/weeds to even get to the door was disappointing. There was alot of dead bugs throughout the room. The kitchen/bedroom smelled musty. No utensils whatsoever. One small saucepan. Small coffee pot. Beds were comfy.
