About Devil's Backbone Park Campground
Devil's Backbone Park Campground is a scenic spot along the Mississippi River, nestled between two foothills. It offers camping sites with great water views, including a view of Tower Rock across the river. The park features picnic tables, grills, and a playground, making it a family-friendly location. Visitors enjoy watching barges go by and the old steam engine on the property adds a unique touch. The campground provides easy check-in and reasonable prices. However, it is best suited for times when the park isn't crowded, as the sites are close together without trees or shrubs as dividers. The park is dog-friendly with a leash law, and some amenities like showers and fire pits are desired for an even better experience.

A super cool, off the beaten path place to camp. Great views of the river and tower rock! Barge traffic right close to the campground, great scenery!

Great place right on the river. Great IF there aren't many people. If it's close to full, I would stay away, as the spots are right on top of each other without trees/shrubs to serve as dividers.

Neat little place along the Mississippi. Seen camping spots. Nice little park with a few pavilions with picnic tables and grills. There is an old steam engine on the property. Directly across the river is a view of Tower Rock which is in Missouri.
