Shout out to O’Brien Tire. They were attentive and solved my wheel balancing issue that a couple other shops just were less than helpful with. Prices are similar to other local tire places but I certainly prefer the atmosphere. I will be taking my other cars there in the future.

dont take your car to obrien ...the guy behind the counter gave me my key back knowing they messed up my car ..smiled at me and took my money ...i started the car and the car had a symptom it didnt have when i took it up there ...im still having to pay for the damage they did ...worst auto mechanics in granite city ..STAY AWAY!!!!!-

Was very professional and nice. Put my tire on in just a few hours because I was leaving town the next day. So they fit me in to do. Everyone was so nice and I didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend. They saved me from probable danger because my ture would have blown on the highway. Great customer service!!

Another exhaust shop said I have a cra ked cat cracked y pipe and 2 bad mufflers. They pouted 960. I called up O Brian's they said let us look at it so I made an appointment for 9 am. Three texts reminding me of my appointment time. I go in, pretty much nowhere to park. Go inside give them the keys sit and wait 45 minutes. No charging outlet in sight. Coffee but didn't see water. My phone died looked for a clock no no clock on the wall. Finally they come tell me the rear cat is ok I just need a pipe and 2 mufflers. $980 so without the rear cat it cost more. I said 980 for a pipe and 2 mufflers sounds high I'll take it somewhere else. They said ok let us get it ready for you to take it. Another half hour they call me up and tell me it's $40 for looking at it. I said Noone told me they were charging me for an estimate and I didn't sign anything. They said 118 years in business we've done pretty good. I said I guess so and left. They didn't want to argue for their $40. How many cars were on the road in 1907. Never go to this place their customer service is the worst ever. Can't even provide charging ports or a clock. 118 years in business abd can't tell people up front they charge you to look at it BEFORE they do. Not so good.

Always a wonderful experience to deal with the folks at O'Brian, especially on what may be one of your worst days regarding your car. I had a horribly stressful situation where my new Alternator died after less than 2 years with no warning signs. O'Brian got me in within a few days despite being booked to the brim, diagnosed and warrantied the Alternator and had my car back up in less than 48 hours, no BS, no interrogation or beating around the bush, and ZERO COST. I've had other places try and slap on fees even with warrantied service, but O'Brian simply got it replaced, and me in and out.
A bonus is they accept the Napa card, which means an amazing 36/36 warranty on top of their already amazing work. I don't really write reviews, but they deserve it.

Great people and great service. Highly recommend giving OBriens a try if you need Tires and alignment, or anything like oil change and tire rotation. Also any mechanical concerns you might have about your vehicle.
