I found this place through someone that used to pick up packages from my job. I do not regret trying it. Its local, family own and super friendly. You will always see a kitty there. They have options for ALL ANIMALS AND CRITTERS and a gardening section as well.Good pricesGreat costumer service

I am adding to a short review my husband gave after he tried to talk w/another representative from the store to no avail this morning. My issue is the poor customer service and inability to listen. Their main point seems to be we didn't bring back the bad thistle at the time (March '22) ... even tho I called *in real time* and was shut down and told "something's going on with the birds" and that it wasn't a problem with the thistle (the thistle was packaged differently, in plain white unmarked bags). The woman I spoke to on Thursday last week acknowledged that they had seed at that time that "the birds did not eat". We were spring cleaning last week and found two remaining unopened bags of the bad seed. I was planning to buy new seed ... we've purchased at least 20 50lb bags a year from here for the last 20 years or so. When we ran across the two unopened bags my husband said why don't you take these with you and see if they'll credit us a bag or something. So I did. I started off my conversation with "I'm not heavily invested in how this ends but I'd like to explain my situation." I started to explain and opened my phone to a picture my husband had taken of two feeders side by side, one w/their bad seed and one with seed we purchased elsewhere after my phone call w/them when they said it was the bird's issue, not the seed ... the birds would only eat the new thistle. The woman I was speaking to quickly understood the situation and immediately started shaking her head no and said "this is over a year ago, I am not giving you your money back" ... I said I don't want my money back, can I just finish what I'm saying. She accused me of becoming defensive (a clear projection). I tried to just finish and she kept shaking her head and saying "I'm not giving you your money back". At one point she said "do you have a receipt" and I said no ... and before I could add that I was sure I could find my credit card record of the transaction she said "No, I'm not giving you your money back". I decided it was fruitless and left the store. I recall my first job in retail as a young kid ... my supervisor told me "Always remember, the customer isn't always right but *the customer is always the customer* hear them out, be respectful and find me if you can't work a problem out." ... it's customer service 101 ... it seems that the leadership in that store could use some basic training. That said, we did find a different feedstore near us, locally owned and operated, that we will be taking our business to in the future.

Well we have been buying bird seed here for over 20 years. Last year we bought three bags of Niger seed, it was different 50lb bags than we usually buy. The seed was bad, the birds would not eat. I thought it was the birds or something, when we tried to exchange the food for the regular seed they finally got back in stock, the manager or whoever was very rudeAnd would not exchange the food.We will never go back and buy bird food there again!! Their loss!!
