I brought my 98 year old mother in law for a shampoo and reg style. She has a short cut so I thought it would be an easy job. she can't wash her own hair so that was the primary reason for coming and then she just needs a blow dry and they usually put a couple curling iron curls in for volume. Again super straightforward - nothing difficult. We checked in online and arrived for scheduled time to be told that styles had to have an appointment. Hmmmm website never mentioned that, but she was adamant so we made an appointment for later in the day. We arrived at the appointment time and then had to sit for another 30 minutes. Some guy walked in and they took him (even though they have a tv that shows who is next - my MIL was.) I asked why they took him before her and they said that they had to wait for the other girl to finish - apparently only she knows how to wash and blowdry hair? She said they don't do many because they are so busy. What? We were the only ones in there other than the guy who came in. Her hair is 2" long - just a cute little short style. So she finally calls her and does the shampoo and then proceeds to do the blow dry. They come to the register to pay and I can't believe it. It looks like she brushed her hair straight down and looks terrible not even working with the cut she has. They saw her when she walked in and this "style" looked nothing like how she arrived. Flat and straight. I asked my MIL was she was happy and she said I didn't really even see it. It had already been a long day so we left and I assured her I could fix it when we got home. When she saw it at home she gasped and said what in the world?! I ended up having to rewet and dry it and put a few curling iron curls - after paying $41 - more than a haircut costs. If you can't provide a service - don't offer it as an option. Terrible experience

Brought my 2 year old in for a haircut. He has fine hair and he loves getting his haircut so I thought it would be easy enough. But it got absolutely botched. The stylist Lucy, wet the hair down so much that when she went to fade the short sides into the top it looked okay. As soon as we left I noticed the hair around his colic was standing completely up and the sides had random patches of long and short not blended out at all. Can’t take him to get it fixed since it’s so short in certain areas it needs to grow back out. Won’t be returning.

I went today and ask for layered cut...there was new person Man and he did worse job and screwed my hair and style, he did not even knew how to do shampoo...I asked him also that ' Is it ur 1st time cutting' ...wasted $28. I just ran away from there.Never seen worse hair cutter at Grateclips.Service: Haircut

It's your basic haircut place. Every time I've ever gone there, the employees are very friendly. I think that's rare. They do a good job cutting your hair, and they have your records on file, so they they how to cut it again. I think they're pretty inexpensive, too. My only gripe is that they have to be open in order for me to schedule an appointment. Nothing can be scheduled in advance of the day you want your haircut.

I had a very lovely experience here. I got an undercut from a stylist named Chelsea. It was my first time getting a haircut on my own and I was very anxious but the service and chilled out atmosphere put my nerves at ease. Chelsea is a very warm character that was easy to talk to and very attentive to detail. The part between my long hair and the undercut was literally perfect! (Remember to check in online before making your way to the salon.)

I was a walk in and had to wait maybe a minute. I’m 37 male with thick hair and Trina or Tina I think I’m hard of hearing (front left as walk in door) either way gave me a lovely haircut. Took her time with scissors rather than rush with clippers. If I lived her she would be my go to.Service: Haircut
