In short, Mary Ann has been the best insurance agent we ever had. Over years, we went through different insurance companies and various agents but she by far has been our favorite. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and willing to help. Along with her staff Deici, we can always find someone to talk to every time we had questions or ran into insurance issues. Mary Ann/Deici, many thanks to make our life easier :-)

I moved from Los Angeles to Grayslake 13 years ago. In those 13 years I had the luck to have an terrible car accident in the first 6 months, to be rear ended by uninsured motorists 3 times and locked out of my car multiple times. I insured my property, car and belongings with State Farm. In each challenging situation I had a friend in Mary Anne. I highly recommend her if you would like someone interested in your welfare, who advocates on your behalf and believes in customer service. She has actually gone with me to the body shop and helped me all along the way. State Farm is a good company-solid, reputable and they stand behind you but the company is nothing with the a great, empathetic and caring agent. I have moved now and I will miss her and Daisy(a patient, kind and gentle soul who works with Mary Anne)....but there is a chance that I can always relocate back and reconnect.

I'm honestly a bit shocked by the other reviews here. My family and I have been using State Farm through Mary Ann for probably 30+ years now. The only reason I say probably is because I'm not exactly sure how long my parents have been going through her, but I do know that they still do. My parents, myself, my family, my siblings, my company, and their companies have ALL used Mary Ann for our auto, home, umbrella, commercial building insurance. In every instance and interaction, Mary Ann and her team have been honest, friendly and easy to work with. Are the other reviews based on State Farm or Mary Ann Koval and her team? Lastly, I do want to say that about 2-3 years ago, we tried to switch to a cheaper insurance carrier. Mary Ann and her team were professional and said that we would be welcome back at any time. After a year with "the other insurance company" our rates skyrocketed and coverage was worse. We went back to SF an Mary Ann. They're not the cheapest, but they're the best.

I have been going here for YEARS. Yes I could find cheaper insurance but I could not find a better agent. Mary anne has been sooooo much more than an agent . Try more like a therapist, friend,can i go as far as saying family member? She has been there not just to answer my questions and care about my situations for an accident but also when my fiance had his( not my car not her client but with state farm). I was lost and alone well he fought for his life and she was there. I can't thank her enough. Thank you mary anne and thank you state farm
