A friend gave me a personal check from pnc bank, so I went to this location to cashed and they want to charge me 2% of the amount of the check. It was 38 dls. NO WAY!!!!!

Very friendly staff that sees me as valuable more than the money they handle. That said, the bank is highly effective in dealing with your money via online, in-person and drive-thru.

The people at PNC bank in Grayslake Illinois are always helpful and check your transactions at the drive-in and inside the bank. The bankers are always willing to help you and solve any problems you may have. Thank you for your advice and services.

Always slow service. Atm ate my money here twice, both times had to go in, explain the issue, then wait a few days for my money to clear again. When using the drive through with a teller, if you send money over for deposit they send over a slip to have you fill it out, even if nobody else is in line. How about you fill it out yourself, or maybe, just maybe, put the slip in the container to begin with like every other bank? No wonder it takes so long to get something done, every interaction has an extra step... Planning on closing my account here, just need to find a bank that's close to Grayslake downtown... Awful branch.

Bill and Monica were extremely helpful and accommodating in acquiring and setting up my loan. Very personable and knowledgeable bankers. I am glad to have chosen PNC for my banking needs.

They always try to hit you with hidden fees after having accounts for years w them. I had an over draft fee on my father's account who recently died I had to argue w them to take fee away. Avoid this bank at all cost.

When I ask to withdraw $2000... I shouldn't have to explain my reason or what I plan to do with it. I have over 50K in my account. If I request to remove it all, don't tell me you need "manager approval." This is our money that we deposited, not yours. You can't believe how angry this interaction made me. Definitely did not give me confidence in banking with you. Or is it just this branch??

Do NOT apply for an auto loan through this bank. We signed for a private auto loan February 26. The woman who did the loan process with us was disorganized. They insisted the sellers (who had a loan still on the vehicle) and the buyers all had to meet at the same time and in the same day for the signing of the paperwork. It is not easy to get four working adults to find a time M-F from 9-5 to meet for this. I asked about being able to get license plates, and the woman said it would take just a few days to get the plates because they would pay off the original loan and then we would be good. WRONG. It is now April 13th and PNC has yet to release the title to the Secretary of State so that we can get plates for the car. I have called and spoken with the branch, the division manager, and PNCs escalation group a number of times. No one seems to know what is going on and when they say they will investigate and get back to you, they never call back. This is absolutely the WORST banking experience we have ever had. If you need any type of auto loan, I suggest you go elsewhere. Otherwise you will be like us with a giant new paperweight in your garage or driveway.
