Great place to adopt your next dog or cat, or volunteer! Plenty of events to support the shelter animals throughout the year.

I have recently made several trips with car loads of donations. They find forever homes for cats and dogs and have a humane investigator which helps report animals that are being abused anonymously.

Left work early, drove an hour only to find a note on the door indicating walk ins could not be accommodated. This should be reflected on your website by the hours or the first page not buried. Very disappointed.

I made an appointment to see a kitten. The kitten was adopted out day-of, although their own policy states an application and pre-scheduled appointment is necessary ahead of time. This is a horribly disappointing process for a small child who has an appointment to pick up a kitten, and then is told it's gone one day ahead of the appointment. Information should be given when making an appointment that someone else either has an earlier appointment or comes in and breaks their policy. My daughter had everything picked out for this kitten and we were picking him up tomorrow.

Wilson formality known as bucatini is so happy! He gets along with his sisters as well! Adopting him was the most easiest process. We were just in wow on the efficiency of everything. We love Wilson so much and so pleased on how save a pet operates! Love each and everything about out experience especially bringing Wilson home to our family

We adopted Opal (Cruella) on August 2, 2024. She immediately moved in and took over! Bonus, she is completely housebroken! The family ran a lottery to change her name. We chose Opal and it fits her perfectly. She visited the family Vet and she passed the examination with flying colors! We tested her DNA and she is 51% German Short Haired Pointer, 22% American Pit Bull Terrier and 21% American Staffordshire Terrier. So basically she is a Pit Pointer. Our grand kids spoil her rotten! She is so sweet and loving!
Thank you Save-A-Pet!, you did a wonderful deed saving her life! The staff at Save-A-Pet is wonderful and especially caring and professional.

We adopted two 3 month old kittens and could not be happier with the experience. Save-A-Pet always put the animals welfare before my impatience of getting our babies. They were very worth the wait!

We made an appointment to visit the cats. We had such a great experience. It was so nice to have an adoption counselor ready to chat and answer questions. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Although we didn’t find a match we wanted to leave a review of gratitude for helping us along our journey!!

We adopted armen who is now named Dracula! (We really just call him Drac)! He has been such a great addition to our family, he’s crazy, cuddly, and so fun to play with. Save-a-pet was amazing with the adoption process. My boyfriend and I are new pet owners and they educated us so well to prepare us for what was to come! The booklet was a lifesaver! Everyone was so nice too when we were getting everything together. I have recommended a few people into adopting from there because of how good the experience was! I’m so glad we finally found a kitten that fits perfectly with our family! Thank you guys !! :)

A year and a half ago we started fostering a special needs cat for Save-a-Pet. The fostering experience was great and we ended up adopting that kitty (Abby). Special needs animals are amazing. Thanks to Save-a-Pet for all they do for animals in need!

We visited a number of shelters when looking for a new cat, and had a few bad experiences. Save-A-Pet was fantastic! They were well-organized and very easy to work with. They take great care of the animals as well – when we took our new cat into the vet after adopting, the vet was impressed by all of the work that had already been done.
Highly recommended!

My dog was but by another dog and put in a cast because she was bit by another dog and had two toes broken.
