This Old Book Inc. is a quality used, rare, and out-of-print bookstore located on Center Street in the heart of downtown Grayslake. It offers a very friendly, comfortable, and inviting environment that is peaceful and neat and clean inside. The store is a constant revolving treasure trove with over 35,000 books, overflowing with current titles and vintage books of all genres, from very old titles to new, including a small section for kids. It is a great place to buy and exchange used books. The staff is very friendly, kind, warm, very amenable, and great at making recommendations. Prices are pretty good considering the conditions of the books. It is a great place to shop and browse without feeling overwhelming, perfect for a quiet evening, for any book lover, for those looking for a nice gift, or for those searching for something special. It is highly and proudly recommended.

Very cute place with a good selection. Cute stores nearby, as well, if you're in the mood to browse. Prices seemed average for a bookstore. They also have nice stickers, tote bags, etc.

Great place to browse and buy books of all genres, old and new. They give store credit for books and you can bring them in anytime, which means the selection is different every time you visit. It's always worth stopping in to see what you'll find - I never leave there empty-handed!
