Very rude un professional the manager in the daytime is a appalling joke will not help you if you can't find a item acts like she is too good to help a customer out that is your job lady start doing your job or go find another job if you can't do your job right also this store is a cluttered mess probably because of this lazy manager this store is a joke I have never seen a worse Dollar general like this one

I would have given this DG a zero if I could. On Saturday 10/21/23 @ 9:30p I went into this business. I had shopped went up to the register to check out. Cashier totalled all my items up and I gave the cashier several coupons. Cashier then went to scan the paper copy manufacturer coupon and it wouldn't scan. Cashier then got the In store manager one who closes the store and she came over and said "we don't take paper coupons anymore". I then said "well where does it say that it needs to be posted in store" manager gets angry with me and snotty says "its on the website" i said where at where does it say that. The manager calls another manager named Pam. And her snotty and rude to me tells me the same thing they no longer accept paper coupons and it's says it on the website. I did not pay for those items because I knew they were both lying. I went out to my car and pulled up website and it says no such thing. So I went back in very calm and nice and said "I looked on the DG website and it says no such thing" very rudely the closing manager says call the manager and if you don't leave I'm calling the police. So I walked out and I called the DG number. I had spoken with an agent. SHE TOLD ME THIS IS NOT TRUE. THERE IS NOTHING STATING DG DOES NOT ACCEPT PAPER COUPONS. SO DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU THAT. The lady I spoke with was very nice and there will be an investigation into this. DG has a zero policy over this type of behavior. The manager didn't think I couldn't talk to someone or I would just take this and either pay for it and leave she was way wrong. Shame on both of them for treating a patron of this manor. They should be ashamed of them selves.

They don't hire african Americans my son has put in numerous applications... young adult healthy!!! But when I go into the store ( Greenville) I always see new faces that have came from other local stores in town... Hmm... This also including (mulberry) but they need help!!!!

Better prices than IGA, but strictly for basics. They could use some plant-based meat products in the freezer. At least some frozen vegetables, which I didn't see a very wide selection of either. It's not like I'm asking for much. Just a bag of stir fry veggies. As someone that predominately doesn't eat meat, it's a little alienating.

Hate to complain as we don't have that many business left in town. But...the shelves in this store are always empty! If you are looking for a sale item forget it, it'll be out of stock. Employees are usually friendly. On my last visit I tried to buy gift cards that were supposed to be on sale. At least the gift cards were in stock, but nobody knew how to ring them up at the sale price. Cashier asked for help from the manager. Manager stated they couldn't ring up the discount and didn't seem to care. Said several other people had tried to buy the sale gift cards too.

Rude manager! Food outdated . When I told the girl , who says she was a manager, she just shrugged and walked away. Who does that? Rude!!

Taylor solved my issue quickly and efficiently with a smile on her face when my frustration with a product had me ready to blow up. Abdule is a manager in the making very friendly and helpful and both deserve a raise for there hard work.

The staff is normally very nice and helpful, but there is usually only one person working the entire store. I've never had the experience of going there and leaving with everything I intended to buy because they are always out of EVERYTHING. It's a shame that I usually have to go to to the store in Pocahontas to find the rest of what I need even though I live here in Greenville. I thought that this problem would have improved with the newer location. It seems worse than before.

For a new store its very disappointing. Disorganized some of the shelves were empty. Is it better than the old store yes but it won't be for long at this rate

I thought things would change in the new store but everything is the same. Have unpacked product in the aisles and 1 checker. Self check-out lanes closed but I wouldn't use them anyway.

This Dollar General In Greenville ,Illinois Is Clean And Everything Is Easy To Find. We Went In There To Shop Today And Got Very Upset Because We Couldn't Use The Bathrooms. And There Is No Locks On The Inside If You Could Go. We Left And Don't Care To Go Back. Might As Well Put A Sign On The Entrance Saying,"NO BATHROOMS FOR SHOPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
