“My wife's car failed the smog test and the technician said that the catalytic converter was defective so I contacted Uribe and he replaced it with a new converter. When I took the car back in for the smog test it failed again. I then took the car to an independent mechanic and it was determined that the converter wasn't getting hot enough to burn the gases so I took it back to Uribe, thinking that maybe the new converter was defective. Uribe verified that the converter wasn't getting hot enough and took me to another mechanic who verified that nothing was wrong with the converter and the real problem was the thermostat. Replacing the thermostat fixed the problem. Uribe went the extra mile to ensure that the problem was fixed. It's not often where an individual will invest this much effort to satisfy a customer. I definitely recommend Uribe for anyone needing muffler work as Uribe is both honest and reasonable in his prices, a combination you don't see often enough in today's world.”
