I've visited the salon a couple of times towards the end of 2021, and each time the owner (Yessy) spent most of her time jabbering on and on about some drama with past stylists she's worked with. I wasn't even there to see her, but she certainly makes sure everyone in the salon can hear her gossiping, as if we care. Completely unprofessional in my opinion, and my last visit sealed the deal for me. I don't even know who these former stylists are that worked at the salon, but I don't blame them for leaving! Also, the services provided are extremely limited, there isn't even a nail technician. I'll take my money elsewhere for more services, actual professionalism, and less high school drama.

My hair was burned , fried and my split ends where growing ugly and upwards all because of a bad perm and bleach someone did to me. Kathy really helped my botched hair go back to normal , she cut it perfectly and not too short also deep conditioned it and styled my hair !! I had medium burned hair so I was scared to cut it too short and thought it was going to be ugly , BUT KATHY made it look soo beautiful ! Thanks again !! ❤️ Services: Shape up

It was 'sheer' serendipity that I found Kathy! I had reached out to see if she could fix/repair the WORST hair cut of my life. I had no expectation other than her clear knowledge over the phone that she would be able to salvage my botched 1/2 shaved head!! Imagine my surprise when not only did she fix the awful botch-job she actually made it a great hair cut that I really like and although growing out is necessary, I don't have to do it the hard way because Kathy will help shape it until I get back to a desired length. Beyond pleasantly surprised doesn't begin to cover it. I also asked for color and honestly it is one of the best color jobs I have ever had and that is saying a lot, SO condioned-no more Brillo! Kathy took her time, was professional, sincere, warm and above all really good at her craft. I cannot recommend Kathy's Hair Studio highly enough. I have found my person! I encourage you to find her too, you will never be sorry again.

Kathy is so kind and fun and she does amazing cut and color and makes you look and feel wonderful and relaxed when you are there and when you leave you are incredibly happy! I have received many compliments after getting my hair done at Kathy's Hair Salon because I believe she is in fact one of the best hair stylists with a heart of gold

I became a client of Yessy through a groupon special and that was 5+ years. Her technique and skills always make my hair look the best and the most important thing is that I appreciate the honesty with the expectations of a color or style shown. I have attached my recent hair transformation and am loving it!

I have been in to see Kathy, who does a nice job cutting hair. Kathy rents a chair from the manager, who rents the shop from Yessy, the owner, The woman manager does nails and pedicures but can;t be trusted to keep appointments on time or follow safe practices in the shop. I took time from my workday to go for a pedicure at 10;20 am. I walked in and the manager was in the middle of a nail appointment, in a space the size of a postage stamp. She took me late and then wanted me to soak my feet inches away from herself and the nail customer. No regard for safe distancing, no regard for my time and effort to come to the shop. When I pointed out COVID is still a concern, she said, "I won't argue...you can wait or come back another time!" Anyone thinking of using this shop should be aware they may get stacked onto other customers, have their appointments run late or otherwise be disrespected.

Kathy has been my stylist for over 15 years. When I first went to her, my hair was getting sparse and not in good health. She restored the condition of my hair and now it is thick, shiny, and healthy. She's a great colorist as well. Although I am older, I get perms and coloring regularly, and my hair is still healthy. Additionally, Kathy is a wonderful and friendly person who loves her work. I always look forward to my appointments with Kathy.

Kathy did an amazing job on my color, cut and style. My hair was dry and needed conditioning. It is now soft and much healthier. I highly recommend her for any service you may need. She is pleasant and really good at her job!

I absolutely love going here. The prices may be a little on the higher end but it is worth it for the atmosphere of the place and the phenomenal service they provide each and every time you go.
