About Lake Carina Forest Preserve
Lake Carina Forest Preserve is a beautiful small preserve with a nice clear fishing lake, a pier, and a fishing deck. It offers a grass and dirt trail around the lake, suitable for a walk or exercise, taking about 3000 steps. The preserve features a spacious parking lot, clean restrooms, benches, and beaches. A creek with crystal-clear water flows into the lake. Visitors can bird watch, meditate, and relax. Note that the trail can have ticks, so bug repellent is advised. The far side of the lake gets noisy from expressway traffic and buzzing power lines.
Nice fishing lake with a pier. The trail is very nice to but wear pants and bug repellent because its a grass trail and found a few ticks on myself

If u walk around the lake. It gets noisy on the far side. Expressway traffic and the buzzing of the power lines. But it's a nice walk. Grass/ dirt trail. Pierre to sit and bird watch or fish.
